The disks are connected to the hub part, in particular with the aid of axially directed screws. Each one of the disks has a surface region provided with first depressions. A first friction lining is bonded and/or glued to the first disk in the surface region of the first of the two disks, and a second friction lining is bonded and/or glued to the second disk in the surface region of the second of the two disks.

Brake disc assembly

An article includes a structural core, one or more friction pads, and a plurality of elongated fasteners. The structural core includes two core surfaces and a plurality of pockets extending between the core surfaces. Each friction pad includes a pad surface and a friction surface opposite the pad surface. Each pad surface includes a planar pad surface configured to contact the core surface and a plurality of bosses extending from the first planar pad surface and including a bore. Each planar pad surface is at least about 50% of a surface area of the respective first and second pad surfaces. The plurality of bosses engages with the plurality of pockets to position the respective first and second friction pads relative to the structural core. The plurality of elongated fasteners passes through bores of corresponding bosses of friction pads to fasten the friction pads to the structural core.

A braking band of a disc brake disc has two mutually facing plates having inner surfaces, either directly or indirectly facing and delimiting a gap, outer surfaces having flat and opposite circumferential portions which form braking surfaces and plate bodies having a predetermined plate thickness. The plates are joined to each other by connecting elements shaped as columns or ribs which project from one plate towards an opposite plate in the form of bridges which connect the plates. One of the plates has at least one ridge projecting from the plate into the gap without reaching the opposite plate, forming a localized narrowing of the gap and a thickening of the plate body. At least one ridge extends from a connecting element to an adjacent connecting element, connecting the connecting elements. At least one ridge extends along a circumferential direction connecting two adjacent connecting elements.
