The electro-mechanical braking system includes a driving apparatus which is configured to drive the gain bridge and the sliding block and is configured to drive, through a one-way torque limiting apparatus, the screw rod to rotate along an axis of the screw rod relative to the two sliding blocks.
Brake Assembly, Brake System, Method for Operating a Brake Caliper and Vehicle
A brake assembly has first and second brake pads, a brake caliper, a brake caliper guide configured to guide a relative movement of the brake caliper in a braking direction, and an actuating member operatively connected to the first brake pad and configured to move the first brake pad into a braking direction by being translationally or rotationally driven. The operative connection between the brake caliper and the first brake pad includes a transfer mechanism configured to move the brake caliper in an opposite direction of the moving direction of the first brake pad in the braking direction. The transfer mechanism is operatively connected to the brake caliper guide for a relative movement of the brake caliper with respect to the brake caliper guide. The actuating member is configured to drive the transfer mechanism for the opposite movement of the brake caliper along the brake caliper guide with respect to the first brake pad being moved in the braking direction.
ELECTROMECHANICAL DRUM BRAKE
An electromechanical drum brake for a motor vehicle. The electromechanical drum brake includes a drum, in which brake shoes are disposed, and an adjusting device, which is disposed between the brake shoes and driven by a drive unit, using which the brake shoes can be spread apart for braking. The adjusting device includes a rack driven by the drive unit, is floatingly mounted between the brake shoes and is in engagement with a coupling gear that acts on a first brake shoe via a push rod connected to it. An actuating rack which acts on a second brake shoe is in engagement with the coupling gear on a side of the coupling gear opposite to the rack, and the coupling gear can move freely on the rack between the brake shoes so that force differences that occur between the brake shoes can be compensated by rotating the coupling gear.
BRAKE ACTUATOR AND BRAKE APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
Disclosed herein are a brake actuator and a brake apparatus including the same. The brake actuator includes a casing, a first motor installed in the casing, a transmission gear rotatably installed in the casing and connected to the first motor, a first parking member configured to rotate together with the transmission gear, a second motor spaced apart from the first motor, a second parking member rotatably installed in the casing and configured to selectively limit rotation of the first parking member depending on the direction of rotation thereof, and a conversion member configured to convert rotational force of the second motor into linear motion to rotate the second parking member.
Vehicle braking system comprising a service brake indicator device and vehicle provided with such a system
A vehicle braking system includes brakes, a body, a braking linkage, a service brake comprising a braking piston movable relative to the body to act on the braking linkage and delimiting a service brake pressure chamber to place the braking piston in a service braking position. A parking brake acts on the braking piston and has a working configuration and a resting configuration. The parking brake includes a blocking device movable relative to the body to act on the braking piston and having a first position and a second position in which the blocking device is configured to immobilize the braking piston in a service braking position. A control device is movable relative to the body and has a locking position to hold the blocking device in the second position. A service brake indicator device receives information representing supply and/or venting of the service brake pressure chamber.
