Disk brake for a utility vehicle
A disk brake for a utility vehicle is provided. A brake caliper of the disk brake includes a receiving chamber configured to receive a brake application device with a pivotable brake lever. The brake lever is supported at one end on a bridge supporting at least one brake piston and at the other end on a wall of the brake caliper forming a caliper head. A pivot bearing is provided for supporting the brake lever on the caliper head or the bridge. The pivot bearing includes a receptacle having a circular-arc-shaped cross-section and has a pivoting body configured to be located in the receptacle. The brake lever is retained in such a way that the brake lever is secured against displacement transversely to the pivoting direction of the brake lever by at least one securing element arranged in the region of the pivoting body extending axially on both sides of the securing element. The securing element protrudes radially in relation to the pivoting body at least in some regions and engages in a slot of the caliper head or of the bridge having a circular arc shape in the pivoting direction of the brake lever.
Bushing assembly for a spring brake actuator of a vehicle air braking system
A bushing assembly is provided for a spring brake actuator of a vehicle air braking system. The bushing assembly comprises a single-piece bushing member made of a material that is homogenous throughout the bushing member. The bushing member includes a first rib structure that faces one axial direction of the bushing member and a second rib structure that faces an opposite axial direction of the bushing member.
Brake caliper housing
A brake caliper housing includes a first end wall, a second end wall, and a transverse wall that extends from the first end wall to the second end wall. The brake caliper housing includes a first bearing protrusion that extends from the first end wall and the transverse wall, and that defines a first lateral bearing surface and a first arcuate bearing surface that extends from the first lateral bearing surface.
Disc brake, more particularly for commercial vehicles
A disk brake includes a brake disc, a brake shaft having a rotation axis that lies parallel to a main plane of the brake disc, a brake pad lying on a same side as the brake shaft relative to the brake disc, a pressure piece disposed between the brake shaft and the brake pad, a first limiting device configured to limit, to a predefined first extent, the displaceability of the pressure piece relative to the brake disc in a direction parallel to the rotation axis of the brake shaft, and a second limiting device configured to limit, to a predefined second extent, the displaceability of the brake shaft relative to the brake disc in a direction parallel to the rotation axis of the brake shaft, the second limiting device comprising a first stop on the pressure piece and a second stop on the brake shaft.
DEVICE FOR ACTUATING A BRAKE, BRAKE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING OR UPGRADING A DEVICE FOR ACTUATING A BRAKE
A device for actuating a brake shoe of a brake, in particular a disk brake, includes a pivotably mountable lever element, and a transmission element configured to be mounted in a longitudinally movable fashion is such that a pivot movement of the lever element is translated into a longitudinal movement of the transmission element wherein a hydraulic chamber configured to be filled with a hydraulic fluid is arranged between the brake shoe and the transmission element for the transmission of force between the brake shoe and the transmission element.
Disk brake for a utility vehicle
A disk brake with lower cost and improved maintainability is provided. The brake caliper includes at least one actuating device for actuating the disc brake using a moveably guided bridge. The bridge has at least one threaded hole into which an actuating spindle is displaceably located. A brake disk end of the actuating spindle penetrates a caliper closing plate facing the brake disk. The positioning spindle carries a rotatably-mounted pressure piece which presses a brake pad against the brake disc. The opening is sealed by a bellows retained on the brake caliper on one side and on the pressure piece on the other side. A securing ring non-rotatably located on the actuating spindle and rotatably connected to the thrust piece interacts with the bellows during brake application and/or release to maintain a desired air gap between the brake disk and brake pad.
Mechanical Disc Brake Structure
A mechanical disc brake structure contains: a body, a brake set, and a drive unit. The body includes two clamp seats between which an accommodation space is defined so as to accommodate a circular disc. The brake set contains: a rotation member includes a coupling column, a rotatable block, and a connection portion. The rotatable block has a push face, the rotation member includes a through aperture, and the stop fringe has a first retaining portion. The engagement member includes a braking disc having a forced face and a shaft. The shaft has a second retaining portion and a threaded orifice. An actuation structure is defined between the push face and the forced face. A torsion spring is accommodated in the through aperture. A screw element is screwed with the threaded orifice, and a locking member is locked with the rotation member.
Vehicle disk brake
A vehicle disk brake has a brake-application device providing a braking force and has a force element and a pressure-boosting lever arrangement. A readjustment device for compensatory readjustment of the wear-induced air clearance of the brake is provided that has a rotatably arranged drive element to be actuated by the brake-application device, a readjustment element arranged rotatably on the same axis, and a transmission device arranged in the movement path between drive element and readjustment element. To provide a readjustment device of a structurally simple design with a small number of parts, the transmission device is in the form of a helical wrap spring which is radially supported at the inner side along a first helix section relative to the drive element and is radially supported at the outer side along a second helix section relative to the readjustment element.
