Brake device
Provided is a brake device that is able to achieve an improvement in versatility of the device, and which is able to reduce an uncomfortable feeling and annoyance caused by an operating noise of a parking brake. This brake device includes: left and right parking brake mechanisms configured to independently apply braking forces to left and right wheels of a vehicle, respectively, and hold the vehicle stationary; and a control device configured to control these parking brake mechanisms. The control device includes a parking brake actuation determiner configured to adjust respective timings at which the left and right parking brake mechanisms are actuated so as to reduce an uncomfortable feeling caused to an occupant of the vehicle.
ELECTROMECHANICAL DISC BRAKE WITH FIXED CALIPER COMPRISING A TRANSMISSION COMPENSATING ASYMMETRIC WEAR OF THE PADS THEREOF
A brake includes a caliper overlapping a disk. The brake also includes a first pad and a second pad which are carried by the caliper on either side of the disk. The brake further includes a first actuator including a first primary toothed wheel driving a first mobile piston pressing against the first pad in order to move same. The brake further includes a second actuator including a second primary toothed wheel driving a second mobile piston pressing against the second pad. The brake further includes a rotating shaft including a first and a second endless screw having opposite winding directions, the shaft being movable in translation. The brake further includes an electric motor for driving the rotating shaft. The first and second endless screws are engaged in the first and second primary toothed wheels respectively.
CLEARANCE CONTROL SWASH PLATE DEVICE AND SINGLE-SHAFT TWO-SPEED DRIVE SYSTEM WITH FRICTION CLUTCH APPLIED THERETO
Disclosed herein are a clearance control swash plate device for a transmission or reducer and a single-shaft two-speed drive system, including the clearance control swash plate device, with a friction clutch applied thereto. The clearance control swash plate device includes: an action plate mounted on a power transfer shaft; a first thrust bearing disposed on the action plate, and configured to prevent rotation force, received from the action plate, from being transferred; a first clearance swash plate disposed on the first thrust bearing; a second clearance swash plate disposed on the first clearance swash plate; a worm engaged with a worm gear formed on the outer circumference of the second clearance swash plate; a second thrust bearing disposed on the second clearance swash plate, and configured to prevent rotation force, received from the second clearance swash plate, from being transferred; and a thrust washer disposed on the second thrust bearing.
Power transfer mechanism for a parking brake assembly
A brake assembly including a first brake piston; a second brake piston; and a parking brake assembly. The parking brake assembly includes a power transfer mechanism and a motor providing power to the power transfer mechanism. During a parking brake apply, the power transfer mechanism provides the power to both the first brake piston and the second brake piston so that both the first brake piston and the second brake piston are moved until a resistance of the second brake piston becomes higher than a resistance of the first brake piston. The power transfer mechanism then transfers the power from the second brake piston to the first brake piston so that the second brake piston ceases to move and additional power is supplied to the first brake piston.
Parking brake actuator
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a parking brake actuator which includes a motor; a worm gear connected to the motor to transmit a power; a worm wheel engaged with the worm gear; a drive shaft coupled to the worm wheel, wherein a parking cable is connected to the drive shaft; a power transmission gear including a first gear coupled to a rotational shaft of the motor and a second gear which is coupled to a rotational shaft of the worm gear and connected to the first gear to transmit the power; and a housing including a first accommodation portion disposed at one side of a reference line which is formed perpendicular to the rotational shaft of the motor and passes through the first gear to accommodate the motor, a second accommodation portion disposed at another side of the reference line to accommodate the worm gear so that the rotational shaft of the worm gear is parallel to the rotational shaft of the motor, and a third accommodation portion disposed at the other side of the reference line to accommodate the worm wheel, thus providing an advantageous effect in which motors of various sizes may be applied without machining a separate housing to correspond to each of the sizes of motor or changing sizes or the number of teeth of gears.
PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR
