At least one guiding tube is disposed on an inner wall of the head tube. An end of the at least one guiding tube extends toward the upper mounting hole, and another end of the at least one guiding tube extends toward the down tube.
CABLE ADJUSTER
A cable adjuster is provided for a small vehicle including a bicycle. The cable adjuster includes a base portion and a control structure. The control structure includes a first member, a second member and a clutch mechanism. The first member is configured to be rotatably mounted to the base portion about a first axis. The second member is attached to the first member to rotate relative to the first member. The clutch mechanism is configured to transmit rotational force applied to the second member to the first member. The clutch mechanism is also configured to prevent from transmitting rotational force applied on the first member to the second member.
PARKING BRAKE ACTUATION ASSEMBLY
A brake actuation assembly comprising a thrust and support element comprising a first thrust end adapted to cooperate with a first jaw of a brake; the thrust and support element comprising a second thrust and support element end; a lever rotatably supported to the thrust and support element for rotating at least along a rotation thrust direction; the lever comprising a first lever end adapted to cooperate with a second jaw of the brake; the lever comprising a second lever end, wherein the second lever end comprises a hooking seat; and wherein the hooking seat is adapted to firmly receive a connecting portion of a coupling end of a traction cable, the traction cable having a cable body capable of an elastic flexural deformation; the hooking seat being arranged undercut with respect to the rectilinear development direction of the cable body; the lever being adapted to oscillate; wherein the lever comprises a lever abutment surface which cooperates with a stop abutment counter-surface provided in the thrust and support element to prevent a free rotation of the lever in the opposite direction to the rotation thrust direction; the thrust and support element and the second lever end delimiting a guide channel which allows the passage of at least the coupling end; the guide channel allowing the coupling end to rotate about the second lever end and to be coupled to the hooking seat upon the elastic return of the cable body to a substantially straight cable body position, preventing the rotation of the lever in the opposite direction to the rotation thrust direction.
Emergency Break Cable Tension Adjustment Devices and Methods
Methods and devices for tensioning a cable are disclosed. The device comprises a nut having two open ends, two bolts, each bolt having a central bore and adapted to mate with one open end of the nut, and two cable securement devices. The cable securement devices are smaller than an inner diameter of the nut and larger than a diameter of the central bores of the bolts.
Parking Brake Cable Stretch Assist Tool
A calibrated adjustable-configuration parking brake stretching assist tool comprising a handle, a brake pedal engagement portion attached to a first end of the handle, such that the handle extends along an axis to a second end of the handle, the brake pedal engagement portion for depressing a parking brake control assembly of a vehicle in response to a force applied to the second end of the handle, and an actuation control portion, laterally attached to the calibrated adjustable-configuration parking brake stretching assist tool proximate to the first end of the handle, for engaging a fixed portion of the vehicle adjacent to the parking brake control assembly on a condition that the parking brake control assembly is depressed by a defined depression amount.
DRUM BRAKE DEVICE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
An illustrative example drum brake device includes a drum having an inner, braking surface. At least one brake shoe includes a friction lining and a support structure for the friction lining. The support structure includes a window having a first portion that is wider than a second portion. A shoe mount is configured to be received through the first portion of the window and engage the support structure adjacent the second portion of the window in a manner that resists movement of the brake shoe in two dimensions and allows selective movement of the brake shoe in a third dimension for allowing the friction lining to selectively engage the braking surface.
Vehicle brake apparatus
One embodiment provides a vehicle brake apparatus, including: an electric actuator; and a drum brake. The drum brake is attached to a wheel so as to be driven by power exhibited by the electric actuator. In a state of being mounted on a vehicle, the electric actuator is disposed and fixed further rearwards than an axle of the wheel.
Electrical wheel brake actuator with improved end position recognition
An electrical wheel brake actuator for motor vehicles, designed to move a brake pad in the direction of a brake rotor and having an electric motor-gear assembly with a rotation-translation converter assembly that includes a nut-spindle arrangement, and an elastic element which is associated with a release end stop of the spindle arrangement in order, together with a control unit, to allow the electric motor to be automatically electrically switched off. The elastic element includes at least two disc springs which are able to form an expanded segmented force-travel spring curve formed from multiple force-travel spring curve portions.
Drum brake module which can be operated by electric motor
An expansion device for drum brakes, which is floatingly and approximately centrally arranged between two substantially symmetrical brake shoes, the expansion device including at least two gear levers articulated to each other and each supported on a brake shoe, at least one of the gear levers of the expansion lock being coupled to an actuating element of an actuator system such that the brake shoes carry out an even, translationally directed expanding movement, which is converted by a gearing, in the direction of the brake drum. At least one of the gear levers of the spreader lock has a spring element integrated into it that can be elastically reversibly deformed by a brake application force about a defined elasticity S of at least 1 mm in a defined manner.
ELECTRONIC PARKING BRAKE
Disclosed is an electronic parking brake. The electronic parking brake is provided with an operating lever, which is configured to support first and second brake shoes, which are installed at both sides inside a drum, and push the first and second brake shoes toward an inner surface of the drum when a pivot lever is pulled, and is electronically activated to operate the pivot lever to brake the drum, and the electronic parking brake includes a housing mounted on a vehicle body; an actuator installed at the housing and configured to generate a driving force for braking; a power conversion unit having a nut member configured to be rotated by receiving the driving force from the actuator, and a spindle member screw-coupled to the nut member to allow a rectilinear movement; and a parking cable configured to move according to a reciprocal linear movement of the spindle member, operate the parking brake, release an operation of the parking brake, and be connected to an end of one side of the spindle member, wherein the parking cable has a predetermined length and is formed with a single integrated type steel bar body to prevent occurrence of a bending deformation.
