APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING A HYBRID VEHICLE AND METHOD THEREOF
An apparatus for controlling a hybrid vehicle and a method thereof are provided. The apparatus includes a hybrid starter & generator (HSG) controller that determines whether an HSG has failed, and a hybrid vehicle controller that controls reverse drive by controlling locking up an engine clutch and maintaining a main relay of a battery to be continuously turned on, based on whether a request for the reverse drive is input from a user. The hybrid vehicle controller changes and applies a vehicle torque control calculation method based on a state of charge (SoC) of the battery, when the HSG has failed.

MEAN RATE DECISION METHOD FOR CLUTCH MOTOR
A mean rate decision method for a clutch motor is disclosed. The method includes determining whether the clutch motor and a gear sensor are in an electrical failure state; when it is determined the clutch motor and the gear sensor are not in the electrical failure state, determining whether there is a driver's starting intention on the basis of state information on the clutch pedal; setting a target position of the clutch motor according to a pedal setting value set by the clutch pedal; and when it is determined that there is no driver's starting intention and that an actual position of the clutch motor exceeds the target position of the clutch motor, determining a failure of the clutch motor on the basis of an excess movement amount and an excess duration in the excess state.
CONTROL SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE
The disclosure is concerned with control system and control method, for a vehicle including a driving power source, drive wheels, a first clutch, and a second clutch. An electronic control unit, which is included in the control system, places the first clutch in a half-engaged state with a predetermined clutch torque capacity, when the vehicle is started, performs start control in a first mode using the second clutch, by gradually increasing a clutch torque capacity of the second clutch from a released state, and switches the start control from the first mode using the second clutch to a second mode using the first clutch, when the increased clutch torque capacity of the second clutch reaches the clutch torque capacity of the first clutch.
Clutch control device
A clutch control device includes an ECU that controls a clutch actuator, the ECU sets a control target value of the clutch capacity according to the operation amount detected by the clutch operation amount sensor, and executes feedback control so that the control parameter which is detected by the control parameter sensor approaches the control target value, and changes a method of the feedback control when the control parameter reaches a predetermined control state change determination value during the feedback control.
Transmission with selectable one-way clutch
A transmission includes a selectable one-way clutch with an active state and a passive state. To avoid occupant discomfort and hardware damage, transitions from the passive state to the active state must only be commanded when no or very little slip is present across the selectable one-way clutch. Several methods are presented to eliminate slip, depending on vehicle speed. When the vehicle is stationary, full engagement of a clutch that causes slip to be proportional to vehicle speed eliminates slip. When the vehicle is moving backwards, partial engagement of the above clutch eliminates slip. When the vehicle is moving forwards, full engagement of all but one clutch of a tie-up condition and partial engagement of the remaining clutch of the tie-up condition brings the vehicle to a stop and eliminates slip.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes: a transmission including an input shaft that receives power inputted from a power source for travel of the vehicle and an output shaft that outputs power to a drive wheel; a manual gear shifting power transmission mechanism that delivers an operation force of a driver as gear shifting power to the transmission; a clutch disposed between the power source for travel of the vehicle and the input shaft; and a controlled clutch actuation power transmission mechanism that delivers power of a clutch actuator as clutch actuation power to the clutch.
Four-wheel drive vehicle clutch control method and clutch control device
A clutch control method is provided for a four-wheel-drive vehicle in which the main drive wheels are connected to a drive source, and the auxiliary drive wheels are connected via a friction clutch to the drive source. When the vehicle starts off due to an accelerator depressing operation, the friction clutch is engaged to distribute, a drive torque from the drive source to the main drive wheels and the auxiliary drive wheels. In this clutch control method, when the vehicle switches from a traveling state to a stopped state while maintaining in a travel shift position, a control is preformed to apply initial torque as an engagement torque control of the friction clutch while the vehicle is stopped. A magnitude of the initial torque is set to a magnitude that maintains a drive-system torsion state by transmitting torque to an auxiliary-drive-wheel drive system before the vehicle is stopped.
Clutch control apparatus
A clutch control device includes an engine, a gearbox, a clutch device configured to disconnect and connect power transmission between the engine and the gearbox, a clutch actuator configured to drive the clutch device and vary a clutch capacity, and an ECU configured to calculate a control target value of the clutch capacity, and the ECU determines whether an engine rotational number after downshifting by the gearbox enters a high rotation region and decreases the clutch capacity after downshifting when it is determined that the engine rotational number after downshifting enters the high rotation region.
