Compound vibration absorption assembly for bike saddle

A compound vibration absorption assembly is provided for a bike saddle, which includes a pair of compound vibration-absorption units mounted to a bottom of the saddle. Each of the compound vibration-absorption units includes an exterior enclosure barrel and an interior elastic component. The interior elastic component is received and housed in an interior space of the exterior enclosure barrel along a force applying direction. When a force is applied to the saddle, a part of the force is absorbed by the interior elastic component, while a remaining part of the force is simultaneously absorbed by the exterior enclosure barrel.

TELESCOPABLE SPRING SUPPORT

A telescopable spring support which comprises a housing, a pressure plate, a load pipe, and a pressure spring and which is designed to elastically support components in a load direction. The housing has a stand side and an upper side, and the pressure plate is arranged in the housing and can be moved within the housing in the load direction. The pressure spring is arranged between the pressure plate and the stand side and applies a spring force to the pressure plate, said spring force being directed towards the upper side in the load direction. The load pipe is connected to the pressure plate and, in each position of the pressure plate, extends outwards from the interior of the housing through an opening arranged on the upper side of the housing. The housing comprises a stand housing and a movable housing. The movable housing can be moved towards the stand housing in the load direction, wherein the stand housing has a stand side, and the movable housing has the opening.

Spring assembly having a coil spring and an anti-entanglement element

The present invention relates to a spring assembly, including: a coil spring having an inner space formed by the spring windings thereof; and an anti-entanglement element for protection against entanglement of the spring assembly, in particular with at least one further spring assembly or with at least one other coil spring; wherein the anti-entanglement element is partially disposed in the inner space formed by the spring windings and extends longitudinally through at least a portion of the inner space; and wherein the anti-entanglement element (14, 26) is provided in the form of an anti-entanglement stirrup, formed separately from the coil spring and clampingly supported in the inner space; or wherein the anti-entanglement element is provided in the form of an anti-entanglement pin, which is formed separately from the coil spring and has a front loss-prevention or captive end and a rear stop end.

Adjustable fail-safe rotary spring operator with a retaining band

A rotary spring-return actuator operator is provided with a multi-slot shaft and a clock type spring retained by a retaining band which encircles the spring in such a manner as to insure that the potential energy within the spring is safely contained during all operations requiring disassembly of the actuator assembly, and wherein the retaining band facilitates the in-field reversal of the spring direction or the adjustment of the spring preload by securing the spring to one or more of the slots on the multi-slot shaft.

Apparatus and method for securing end pieces to a mandrel

A bumper spring assembly having a one piece mandrel including an integral head piece is further configured with a cage assembly retained on the mandrel with a cage nut locked to the mandrel to obviate the need for pins, set screws, and the like, to provide a more robust assembly. In two embodiments the cage nut is locked to the mandrel in a swaging operation. Improved flow of fluids through and around the bumper spring assembly are also provided.

HIGH TEMPERATURE, HIGH TORQUE, POLYMERIC ROTATIONAL DAMPENER

The present disclosure provides a rotational spring dampener including a core having an opening therethrough, a first solid component having a first set of bosses, a second solid component having a second set of bosses, and a tensile member positioned between the first solid component and the second solid component. The tensile member is composed of a solid silicon polymer.

Compression spring assembly

A force damper arranged to progressively arrest a first force imparted by an object moving in a first direction is disclosed. The force damper includes a housing enclosure having a first housing end and a second housing end. The first housing end includes a first connection point, and the second housing end includes an opening. A driving member is disposed within the housing enclosure and includes a first shaft end, a second shaft end, and a shaft therebetween. The first shaft end includes a stop and the second shaft end includes a second connection point. A compressible member is disposed within the housing enclosure between the stop and the opening. The compressible member is formed from a material that at least partially undergoes plastic deformation when the first force is arrested and imparts a second force on the stop toward first housing end.

Hermetic compressor

A hermetic compressor is provided. The hermetic compressor may include a compressor body spaced apart from an inner surface of a shell and including a motor unit and a compression unit; at least one support spring provided between the shell and the compressor body and that elastically supports the compressor body with respect to the shell; at least one stopper cap fixed to the inner surface of the shell or the compressor body facing the inner surface of the shell; and a stopper bar that extends from the compressor body or the inner surface of the shell and inserted into the at least one stopper cap with a predetermined distance therebetween. By mechanically restraining vibration of the compressor body and limiting amplitude of the compressor body, vibration noise of the compressor body may be reduced and the compressor body may be suppressed from being in contact with the shell to thereby prevent damage to the compressor body.
