Split bushing torque strut isolator assembly
A split bushing torque strut isolator assembly for a vehicle is provided. The assembly includes a lower bushing configured to be disposed in a vehicle structural component, a bushing housing configured to be coupled to the vehicle structural component, an upper bushing disposed at least partially within the bushing housing, the upper bushing being separate from the lower bushing, and a torque rod having a first end and a second end, the second end being disposed between the upper and lower bushings. A method of assembling the split bushing torque strut isolator assembly is also provided.
STABILIZER BUSHING AND BUSHING-EQUIPPED STABILIZER BAR USING THE SAME
A stabilizer bushing including: a tubular main rubber elastic body configured to be disposed about and attachable to a stabilizer bar; an inside protrusion protruding in an axial direction from an inner peripheral part of the main rubber elastic body; and a bonding surface constituted by including an inner peripheral surface of the main rubber elastic body and an inner peripheral surface of the inside protrusion, the bonding surface being configured to be bonded to an outer peripheral surface of the stabilizer bar.
Elastomeric bushing with ferrule
An elastomeric bushing comprises an inner sleeve including a first end face and an opposite second end face. An elastomeric bumper is disposed around and directly engages the inner sleeve. The elastomeric bumper includes an annular void. An outer sleeve is disposed around the inner sleeve and the elastomeric bumper, spaced apart from the inner sleeve, and directly engages the elastomeric bumper. A one-piece monolithic ferrule includes a cylindrical sidewall surrounding a portion of the inner sleeve, an end wall, and a collar. The end wall radially inwardly extends from the side wall and overlaps the first end face of the inner sleeve. The collar has an outer surface positioned within the outer sleeve and within the annular void to limit the radial extent of relative movement between the inner and outer sleeves.
