VIBRATION-DAMPING DEVICE
An object of the present invention is to provide a vibration-damping device which enhances the durability of a rubber elastic body; and inhibits the occurrence of voids in an outer cylinder. The vibration-damping device includes: an inner cylinder; a resin-made outer cylinder arranged outside the inner cylinder in a radial direction of the outer cylinder; and a rubber elastic body connecting the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder.
VIBRATION DAMPING DEVICE
The present invention is a vibration damping device (1, 2) that includes an external member (11, 21) attached to one of a vibration-generating portion and a vibration-receiving portion; a tubular member (40) attached to the other of the vibration-generating portion and the vibration-receiving portion; and an elastic body (30) which connects the external member (11, 21) and the tubular member (40). The external member (11, 21) includes a frame-like member (11, 21) having a rectangular shape when viewed from the top. In the elastic body (30), a long-side portion (32a) forming a long side of a rectangular shape when viewed from the top adheres to an inner circumferential surface of the long-side portion (12a, 12b) of the frame-like member (11, 21), and a short-side portion (32b) forming a short side of the rectangular shape when viewed from the top comes into contact with the external member (11, 21) in a long-side direction (X) in which the long-side portion (12a, 12b) extends when viewed from the top, in a non-adhering state.
ELASTOMERIC BUSHING
An elastomeric bushing includes an inner sleeve, a travel limiter disposed around the inner sleeve, an elastomeric bumper disposed around and directly engaging the travel limiter, and an outer sleeve disposed around the inner sleeve, the travel limiter and the elastomeric bumper. The outer sleeve is spaced apart from the inner sleeve and directly engages the elastomeric bumper. The travel limiter includes a radially outwardly extending first protrusion and a diametrically opposed radially outwardly extending second protrusion. A first portion of the elastomeric bumper is bounded by a first reduced diameter portion of the outer sleeve and the first and second protrusions. A second portion of the elastomeric bumper is bounded by a second reduced diameter portion of the outer sleeve and the first and second protrusions. The elastomeric bumper includes diametrically opposed voids axially extending therethrough. The voids are circumferentially rotated relative to the first and second protrusions.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL SUSPENSION BUSHING
A bushing for use in an axle/suspension system of a heavy-duty vehicle. A beam supports an axle for pivotal movement with a hanger of the heavy-duty vehicle at a pivot connection. A bumper is fixed to the beam and contacts an engagement member of the heavy-duty vehicle to limit the relative pivotal movement of the beam and axle in one direction. A force is applied to the pivot connection in a force application direction that is angularly spaced from horizontal and vertical planes. The pivot connection includes a bushing to connect the beam and the hanger. The bushing includes an elastomeric bushing body with at least one void for decreasing rigidity of the bushing body in a substantially vertical direction. The one void is located in the bushing body angularly spaced from the force application direction. The bushing body is substantially solid along the force application direction.
TORQUE ROD
A torque rod for straddling connection target members including a rod member and a rubber bushing provided to a lengthwise end of the rod member. The rubber bushing includes an inside shaft member, an outer peripheral member to be attached to one of the connection target members, and a rubber elastic body connecting the inside shaft member and the outer peripheral member. The rubber bushing is a part separate from the rod member and the end of the rod member is fixed to the inside shaft member. The rod member includes an abutting face to abut against the one of the connection target members without interposing the outer peripheral member of the rubber bushing. A stopper to limit an amount of elastic deformation of the rubber elastic body in the rubber bushing is constituted by including the abutting face of the rod member.
TORQUE ROD
A torque rod including: a rod member; and a rubber bushing provided at a lengthwise end of the rod member, wherein the rubber bushing includes an inner axial member, an outer tubular member, and a rubber elastic body connecting the inner axial member and the outer tubular member with each other, the lengthwise end of the rod member is fixed to the inner axial member of the rubber bushing constituted by a part separate from the rod member, and a stopper to limit a relative displacement amount of the inner axial member and the outer tubular member in the rubber bushing is constituted in contact sections of the rod member and the outer tubular member.
Tubular elastic linkage device for axle beam
A tubular elastic linkage device for axle beam for elastically linking a truck frame and an axle beam including: an inner axial member; two outer segments opposed in axis-perpendicular direction peripherally outside the inner axial member for attachment to a housing part on an axle-beam side; and a main rubber elastic body elastically connecting them. A pocket part opens in an outer peripheral face of the main rubber elastic body onto outside via a window penetrating one outer segment. A stopper supported by the inner axial member is disposed in the pocket part to face the housing part distantly via the window. Contact of the stopper with the housing part constitutes a displacement limitation mechanism between the inner axial member and the outer segments. The other outer segment has an aperture having the main rubber elastic body exposed outside via it.
STOPPER AND ANTIVIBRATION UNIT
A stopper includes: a mounting hole into which an inside member is inserted; and a plurality of surface ribs and a plurality of rear surface ribs. A plurality of surface ribs respectively protrude from the surface and linearly disposed. A plurality of the rear surface ribs, on a rear surface, respectively protrude from between the surface ribs and linearly disposed. In a predetermined region in a circumferential direction of the mounting hole, intervals between the surface ribs adjacent to each other and intervals between the rear surface ribs adjacent to each other are set to be constant throughout an entire length in an extending direction in which the surface ribs and the rear surface ribs extend.
Sway bar linkage with bushing
The sway bar linkage connects a sway bar with a control arm of a vehicle suspension system. The linkage includes a fastener and a plurality of bushings disposed between the fastener and the sway bar and between the fastener and the control arm. At least one of the bushings is constructed as a single piece of material, presents an outer surface, presents an inner bore which extends along an axis for receiving the fastener, and presents a plurality of pockets. The pockets are spaced radially between the inner bore and the outer surface for allowing the bushing to more easily deflect and absorb energy while transferring forces between the sway bar, fastener and control arm.
