Torsional vibration damper with a rotational axis for a powertrain
A torsional vibration damper includes an input side for receiving a torque, an output side for dispensing the torque, an intermediate element arranged for torque transmission between the input side and the output side, an energy storage element supporting the intermediate element such that it can vibrate relative to the input side and the output side, and a roll body. The intermediate element has a transmission path for the roll body. The input side or the output side forms a path side with a counter path that is complementary to the transmission path, and the other of the input side or the output side forms a force side. The roll body is guided in a rotatable manner between the transmission path and the counter path, and the energy storage element connects the force side to the intermediate element for torque transmission.
TORSIONAL VIBRATION DAMPER WITH A ROTATIONAL AXIS FOR A POWERTRAIN
A torsional vibration damper includes an input side and an output side, first and second rolling bodies, an intermediate element for torque transmission between the input and output sides, and an energy storage element for supporting the intermediate element in an oscillating manner. The intermediate element has a first transmission path for rolling the first rolling body, and a second transmission path for rolling the second rolling body. The input side has a first counter path complementary to the first transmission path. The output side has a second counter path complementary to the second transmission path. The first rolling body is guided between the first transmission path and the first counter path, and the second rolling body is guided between the second transmission path and the second counter path. The energy storage element is arranged with a vector component that acts circumferentially on the intermediate element in a circumferential direction.
METHOD FOR INSTALLING A WRAP SPRING
A method for installing a wrap spring includes providing a first sleeve with a first longitudinal axis extending in an axial direction and a lateral surface, and the wrap spring designed to frictionally abut the lateral surface. The wrap spring includes a nominal diameter and a central axis. The method includes applying the wrap spring in a relaxed state to the lateral surface at an angle α between the central axis and the first longitudinal axis, elastically twisting the wrap spring to change the nominal diameter while the wrap spring contacts the lateral surface, reducing the angle α, threading the wrap spring onto the first sleeve, and relaxing the wrap spring to establish frictional contact with the lateral surface.
Torque transmitting shaft
A torque transmitting shaft includes a first member and a second member. The first member extends along an axis and has an inner surface extending between a first end and a second end. The inner surface defines a plurality of first engagement elements disposed proximate the first end. The second member extends along the second axis and has a first end portion and an intermediate portion extending from the first end portion. An end of the intermediate portion is fixedly attached to the second end. The first end portion has a first spline portion and each member of the first spline portion is received within corresponding engagement elements of the plurality of first engagement elements.
PLANAR TORSIONAL SPRING
The object of the present invention is a new configuration of torsional spring with a flat structure, capable of ensuring response linearity, modelling ease and accuracy, versatile use while safeguarding the possibility of the inner passage of wiring or of any accessory components along the transmission/torsion axis.
Torsional vibration damper
A torsional vibration damper in which collision noise resulting from collision of a rolling member against a rotary member is reduced. The torsional vibration damper comprises a restriction mechanism that establishes a restriction force in a direction to restrict the relative rotation between the rotary member and the inertia body, when the rolling member centrifugally pushed onto a raceway surface is pushed radially inwardly by the raceway surface toward a radially inner limit position of a guide section.

THRUST DAMPER FOR A SHAFT IN AN AIRCRAFT
A shaft system includes an outer shaft including an outer surface and an inner surface defining a conduit and an inner shaft extending along at least a portion of the conduit. The inner shaft includes a radially extending passage. The inner shaft has a first end and a second end that is opposite the first end. An input member is arranged at the first end of the inner shaft. A thrust damper is arranged between the input member and the inner shaft. The thrust damper constrains relative rotation between the inner shaft and the outer shaft.
Decoupler
A decoupler of a drive torque transmission between the belt of an auxiliary unit belt drive and the shaft of one of the auxiliary units, includes: a belt pulley, a hub to be secured to the shaft, a first spring plate having a rotary stop arranged in the drive torque flow on the belt pulley side, a second spring plate having a rotary stop arranged in the drive torque flow on the hub side, a torsion spring having spring ends, the peripheral end faces of which rest on the rotary stops and introduce the force component of the drive torque into the radially widening torsion spring, and a torsional vibration damper having a first friction contact surface arranged in the drive torque flow from the belt pulley and a second friction contact surface arranged in the drive torque flow on the hub side.
TORSIONAL VIBRATION DAMPER HAVING A HELICAL SPRING ASSEMBLY
Torsional vibration damper for a drivetrain of a motor vehicle, having a primary element rotatable around a rotational axis and a secondary element rotatable relative to the primary element against an energy storage. The energy storage includes a helical compression spring unit. The helical compression spring unit is provided in a spring channel, and the helical compression spring unit includes an outer spring. The outer spring is formed as an arc spring and an inner spring is provided inside of the outer spring and virtually coaxial to the outer spring. The inner spring when disassembled from the helical compression spring unit is formed as a straight helical compression spring. The inner spring has a winding direction that is opposed to a winding direction of the outer spring and the inner spring when installed in the torsional vibration damper, is shorter than the outer spring by a value of x.
