Damper device
A flywheel assembly includes a first rotary member, a second rotary member, a first coil spring, a second coil spring, an intermediate plate, a first stopper mechanism and a first contact relief member. The first coil spring is configured to be compressed between the first rotary member and the second rotary member. The second coil spring is configured to be compressed between the first rotary member and the second rotary member and has a stiffness greater than a stiffness of the first coil spring. The intermediate member is engaged with the first coil spring and the second coil spring and couples the first coil spring and the second coil spring in series. The first stopper mechanism is configured to deactivate the first coil spring. The first contact relief member is movably disposed inside the first coil spring and is capable of relieving the contact in the first stopper mechanism during activation of the first coil spring.
Vibration damper with intermediate flange travel stop and torque converter with vibration damper having intermediate flange travel stop
A torque converter, including: a cover; an impeller including an impeller shell connected to the cover and at least one impeller blade; a turbine in fluid communication with the impeller and including a turbine shell and at least one turbine blade; stator including at least one stator blade; and a vibration damper including a first cover plate, a second cover plate non-rotatably connected to the first cover plate, an intermediate flange axially disposed between the first cover plate and the second cover plate, at least one spring directly engaged with the first cover plate, the second cover plate, and the intermediate flange, and a resilient element directly engaged with the first cover plate and the intermediate flange and urging the intermediate flange in an axial direction, parallel to an axis of rotation of the torque converter, away from the first cover plate and into contact with the second cover plate.
DAMPER DEVICE
In a damper device, a dynamic damper is coupled to a first intermediate member, first and second inner-side springs that act in series with each other are straight coil springs disposed between a second intermediate member and a driven member so that outward movement of the springs in a radial direction of the damper device is restricted at respective both ends, and a gap is formed between each body portion of the first and the second inner-side springs and the second intermediate member or a spring abutment portion of the driven member.
Torque transmission device for a motor vehicle
A torque transmission device for a motor vehicle, having a torque input element (7a), a torque output element (24), and at least one group of elastic members (10a, 10b) mounted between the torque input element (7a, 7b) and the torque output element (24) and arranged in series by means of a phasing member (30). The torque output element (24) and the phasing member (30) have first (28a, 33a) and second stop means (28b, 33b) limiting their relative rotation in two opposite rotation directions (D, R), the torque input element (7a, 7b) and the phasing member (30) having third (34, 17b) and fourth stop means (34, 16b) limiting their relative rotation in two opposite rotation directions (D, R). Additionally, the torque input (7a, 7b) and output elements (24) have fifth (29, 16a) and sixth stop means (29, 17a) limiting their relative rotation in two opposite rotation directions (D, R).
Shock absorber with mechanical stop for torque converter
A shock absorber includes a mechanical stop for torque converter that prevents the exterior springs from reaching the solid length. The shock absorber with mechanical buffer stop includes a drive plate; at least one exterior spring; and a driven plate, the driven plate additionally includes at least one mechanical stop which is configured to make contact with the drive plate when the drive plate compresses each exterior spring, and each mechanical stop is located such that it prevents each exterior spring from reaching a solid-length condition.
