Hybrid powertrain for vehicles

A hybrid powertrain may include an engine input shaft connected to an engine by a main clutch, a motor input shaft connected to a motor, first and second output shafts mounted in parallel to the engine input shaft, a variable driving gear provided on the motor input shaft to maintain or increase a rotation speed of the motor input shaft and then to transmit the maintained or increased rotation speed to the first output shaft, a composite synchronizer mounted to independently implement interruption of connection between the engine input shaft and the motor input shaft and interruption of connection between the variable driving gear and the motor input shaft, and plural gear pairs mounted to form different transmission gear ratios between the engine input shaft and the first output shaft and between the engine input shaft and the second output shaft.

HYBRID POWERTRAIN

A hybrid powertrain may include a first shifting module including a motor input shaft having a motor directly connected to the motor shaft and provided to form two shifting stages having the largest gear ratios in sequence among a series of shifting stages; a second shifting module including an engine input shaft concentrically mounted with the motor input shaft and connected to an engine through a main clutch, and provided to form the remaining shifting stages of the series of shifting stages; a center synchro mounted to intermit the motor input shaft and the engine input shaft; and a continuous variable device provided to implement a state in which the first shifting module forms a gear ratio smaller than a shifting stage having a small gear ratio among the shifting stages of the first shifting module by a continuously controlled friction force.

RANGE-CHANGE TRANSMISSION DEVICE

A range-change transmission device includes an input shaft, an intermediate shaft, a countershaft, a transmission output shaft, and a first planetary gear set. A first transmission element of the first planetary gear set is permanently coupled to the intermediate shaft in a rotationally fixed manner. A second transmission element of the first planetary gear set is coupled to the transmission output shaft. A first switching unit is provided to arrange a third transmission element of the first planetary gear set to be fixed to the housing in at least one switching position. The range-change transmission device also includes a second planetary gear set. A third transmission element of the second planetary gear set is permanently coupled to the intermediate shaft in a rotationally fixed manner.

Axle assembly having a multi-speed transmission and a drop gear set

An axle assembly having a drop gear set and a countershaft transmission. The drop gear set may operatively connect a rotor of an electric motor to a countershaft. The countershaft transmission may operatively connect the countershaft to a drive pinion. The electric motor and the countershaft transmission may be positioned on opposite sides of a differential assembly.

A method for compensation of a support torque at a combustion engine and transmission which provide an overlay of combustion engine and electric machine. The combustion engine, the electric machine, and a transmission gearset are connected with each other via a planetary gearset, which is positioned in front of a downstream transmission gearset. The invention concerns a transmission gearset of a three-shaft transmission, each with a transmission input shaft for the electric machine, and for the combustion engine, and an output shaft. For the connection or disconnection of the transmission input shaft of the electric machine while driving, the electric machine is used for the synchronization of the input shaft of the electric machine, and the created support torque at the combustion engine is determined, based on this support torque, to match a combustion engine torque and thus to compensate the support torque.
