Chain tensioner
The present invention provides a chain tensioner that automatically adjusts flow path resistance inside an oil leak path with a simple configuration to make it possible to reduce a change in damping characteristics resulting from a change in oil temperature and reduce an increase in manufacturing cost. In the chain tensioner, a pressure oil chamber is provided with an oil leak path communicating with an outside of the chain tensioner, the oil leak path contains a movable piece which is movable with a temperature-dependent deformation member that deforms according to oil temperature, and the movable piece is formed into a shape that changes flow path resistance of the oil leak path according to a position to which the movable piece is moved.
Chain tensioner
To provide a chain tensioner that can suppress oil leakage from a gap between a plunger bore and a plunger to achieve stable damping characteristics and that can avoid an increase in production cost, with a simple structure. The chain tensioner includes a packing member that is provided on an inner circumferential side of the plunger bore and that suppresses oil leakage from a cylindrical outer surface of the plunger. The plunger is provided with an oil leak passage that extends from an oil pressure chamber inside the plunger to the outside.
CHECK VALVE AND INTEGRATED PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE CONTROLLED BY A METALLIC BAND
An integrated valve for a hydraulic tensioner includes a pressure relief valve with an integrated band, which is preferably made of metal, placed around the outside of a pressure relief valve body. A hydraulic tensioner includes a housing with a bore and a hollow piston slidably received within the bore. A piston spring biases the piston in a direction toward a power transmission device. The tensioner also includes an integrated check valve in a body of the housing. The integrated check valve includes a pressure relief valve mechanism and a band check valve mechanism surrounding a circumference of the pressure relief valve mechanism. The pressure relief valve mechanism permits transfer of pressurized fluid from a piston chamber formed by the hollow piston to the source of pressurized fluid and the check valve mechanism permits transfer of pressurized fluid from the source of pressurized fluid to the piston chamber.
Tensioning device for a chain drive
A hydraulic tensioning device for a chain drive of an internal combustion engine, having a receptacle and having a tensioning piston which is guided in displaceable fashion in a cylindrical hollow space of the receptacle and which has a piston hollow space, wherein the piston hollow space together with the cylindrical hollow space of the receptacle forms a pressure chamber, and having a pressure relief valve unit arranged in the piston hollow space. The pressure relief valve unit is a preassembled structural unit and comprises a spring, a closing body and a valve seat and also a valve receptacle which surrounds the valve seat in a first subsection, wherein the valve receptacle forms an interference fit with the valve seat, and wherein the valve receptacle or the valve seat in a second subsection form an interference fit with the inner shell surface of the tensioning piston.
Chain drive tensioner spring force control mechanism
A tensioner which adjusts the mean tensioner force to keep the chain tension as low as possible without sacrificing chain control, significantly improving drive efficiency as the chain wears and is subject to low dynamic loads.
Tensioner
An orifice member is disposed in a plunger including a plunger hole that forms a hydraulic chamber in conjunction with a plunger housing hole in a housing. The orifice member includes a deformed fitting section deformed to fit on the inner circumferential surface of the plunger hole, a communication section that causes a surface in contact with the top surface on the front side of the plunger hole and a surface on the hydraulic chamber side to communicate, and an orifice groove that communicates with the communication section and an external relief hole provided in the plunger on the surface in contact with the top surface on the front side of the plunger hole to constitute an orifice.
Tensioner and relief valve unit
To provide a tensioner and a relief valve unit that enable a reduction in the number of parts to be processed and the number of assembling steps, reduce the amount of oil flowing out to the outside, prevent damage to the check valve, and improve the oil recovery rate. The relief valve unit that releases oil when pressure inside an oil pressure chamber reaches or exceeds a predetermined high pressure includes a check valve unit that stops reverse flow of oil flowing into the oil pressure chamber as a valve element, the check valve unit being slidably inserted in the relief valve unit. The relief valve unit includes a unit pressing spring that presses the check valve unit toward a relief valve seat. The check valve unit includes an oil passage for allowing oil to flow between an inner side and an outer side of the check valve unit.
TRACKED VEHICLE, IN PARTICULAR CONSTRUCTION MACHINE, MORE PARTICULARLY ROAD CONSTRUCTION MACHINE, WITH A TRACK TENSIONING APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A TRACKED VEHICLE WITH A TRACK TENSIONING APPARATUS
A tracked vehicle, in particular a construction machine, more particularly a road construction machine, with at least one drive motor and a travel pump of a travel drive hydraulic circuit, which is driven by the drive motor, for generating a drive pressure; at least one track unit, said track unit comprising a drive wheel driven via the travel drive hydraulic circuit, at least one guide wheel, a track endlessly running around the drive wheel and the guide wheel, as well as a track tensioning apparatus for tensioning the track, and the track tensioning apparatus comprising an adjusting device with a track tensioning hydraulic cylinder with which the distance between two wheels of the track unit, in particular the drive wheel and the guide wheel, is adjustable for tensioning the track, the track tensioning hydraulic cylinder being connected via a hydraulic tensioning line to a hydraulic pretensioning source via which it can be loaded with an initial pretensioning pressure. The tensioning apparatus further has a damping device with a spring for damping pressure peaks in the adjusting device. A method for operating a tracked vehicle with a track unit.
Tensioner
Provided is a tensioner capable of reducing a machining or mounting load and preventing leakage of oil from a surface for mounting a tensioner with a simple configuration. A tension body having a plunger-receiving hole into which a plunger is slidably inserted is configured to have a projection portion on a mounting surface that face a wall surface having an oil discharge hole of amounting target object. The projection portion is configured to be inserted into the oil discharge hole and to be continuously connected to the oil supply path formed in the tensioner body to form an oil passage.
Hydraulic tensioner with tunable check valve
A hydraulic tensioner can include a valve retainer and valve member within a housing including a cavity, passageway, and boss. The passageway provides fluid communication with the cavity through an end face of the cavity. The boss is disposed about the passageway and extends axially outward from the end face. The valve retainer can include a first plate. The first plate can be fixedly coupled to the housing. The valve member can include a second plate that can be axially between the first plate and the boss. The second plate can extend in a radial direction beyond an outermost edge of the boss.
