A method and apparatus that circumvents belt path obstacles in a Corvette C8 engine for transferring auxiliary power from the engine crankshaft output pulley to a supercharger input pulley by using a drive path transfer apparatus including a transfer input pulley located in the same plane as the crankshaft pulley and connected to it with the main drive belt, a transfer output pulley in a second plane spaced inboard of the first plane including the supercharger pulley, a secondary belt joining the transfer output pulley and the supercharger pulley, and a coupling shaft having the transfer input pulley at one end and the transfer output pulley at the other end, the coupling shaft being rotationally mounted in a two-piece installable bracket secured on the engine block in a location to the side of the obstruction, thereby transferring power from the engine to the supercharger without interference from the obstruction.

Disclosed is a power generating system, comprising a multi-stage transmission structure, a power generating device, a manual operation module. The multi-stage transmission structure includes a driving module and a transmission module. The driving module includes a first driving wheel and a first transmission wheel with a smaller diameter. The first driving wheel and the first transmission wheel have a plurality of guiding trenches at respective outer edges, and are linked with each other through a first transmission belt. The transmission module includes a second transmission wheel and a second driving wheel. The second transmission wheel has a greater diameter than the first transmission wheel and the second driving wheel and is coaxially disposed with the first transmission wheel. The manual operation module can enable a user to rotate the first driving wheel and thus carry the second driving wheel so that the power generating device generates power.

A toothed CVT using a Cone with One Torque Transmitting Member that is coupled by a Transmission Belt to another Cone with One Torque Transmitting Member for which teeth re-engagement between the Torque Transmitting Members and their Transmission Belt is improved. Said CVT uses a slack-side Tensioning Pulley in order to maintain the tension in the slack-side of the Transmission Belt almost constant so as to ensure smooth re-engagement of the Driven Cone; and a Transmission Diameter Compensating Mechanism, which increases the Transmission Diameter of the Driving Cone when the torque being pulled by the Driving Cone is increased, in order to compensate for an increase in Transmission Belt Teeth Compression and an increase in stretching of the tense-side of the Transmission Belt, due to an increase in tension in the tense-side of the Transmission Belt when an increased torque is transmitted; to ensure smooth re-engagement of the Driving Cone.
