In the power transmission unit, an input shaft, a first rotary machine, a differential mechanism, and an output shaft are arranged coaxially. The power transmission unit comprise: a first clutch that engages a first movable member connected to an input element of the differential mechanism with a first engagement section formed on another rotary element; a second clutch that engages a second movable member connected to the output element of the differential mechanism with a second engagement section formed on another rotary element; a drive gear mounted on the input element; a driven gear meshed with the drive gear; and an oil pump connected to the driven gear.

FOUR-MODE DUAL-MOTOR COUPLING ELECTRIC DRIVE AXLE

A four-mode dual-motor coupled electric drive axle, including a primary drive motor, an auxiliary drive motor, a reducer, a torque vectoring (TV) coupler, a power coupling differential, a housing, and a power output mechanism. The TV coupler is switchable among disconnected mode, TV mode, and reducer mode by controlling a first clutch and a second clutch. The power coupling differential is switchable between torque coupling mode and speed coupling mode by controlling a third clutch. The electric drive axle is switchable among single-motor drive mode, TV drive mode, dual-motor torque coupling drive mode, and dual-motor speed coupling drive mode by controlling the TV coupler and the power coupling differential.

DRIVE UNIT FOR AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE

A drive unit for an electric vehicle has at least one electric machine, a multi-speed transmission, and a distributor device. The rotor of each electric machine is connected to an associated input shaft of the multi-speed transmission. The multi-speed transmission is connected on the output side to the distributor device with different transmission ratios being selectable in the multi-speed transmission. In addition, a drive power introduced into the distributor device can be distributed to at least two outputs of the distributor device. In order to provide a compact drive unit for an electric vehicle with permanent all-wheel drive or selectable all-wheel drive, the distributor device can be used to provide a longitudinal distribution of the introduced drive power in that the outputs of the distributor device are each provided for coupling to a respective drive axle of the electric vehicle.

The assembly includes a final drive co-axially aligned with the first axis and rotatably coupled to the output shaft for providing rotational torque to at least one of a first and second set of wheels of the electric vehicle.

A drive system for a hybrid motor vehicle includes an internal combustion engine, a first electric machine and a second electric machine. A rotor shaft of the first electric machine is rotationally coupled to an output shaft of the internal combustion engine and is arranged coaxially to said output shaft. A rotor shaft of the second electric machine is arranged coaxially to the output shaft and can be uncoupled from the rotor shaft of the first electric machine via a clutch. At least one differential transmission has at least two outputs. The output shaft is connected to the rotor shaft of the first electric machine via a fixed transmission stage, and the rotor shaft of the second electric machine is coupled to an input of the at least one differential transmission via a two-speed transmission device.

In this case a shifting element is present, which when actuated couples the second driveshaft with the main drive output shaft.
