STEERING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES AND VEHICLES HAVING SAME
A steering system for a skid steered vehicle has a variable-speed steering motor, and an asymmetrical steering differential operatively connected to the steering motor and rotatably mounted on a first side of the chassis separately from the propulsion system. The steering differential has a first differential shaft and a second differential shaft, where the asymmetrical differential imparts a greater speed change on the second differential shaft than the first differential shaft. The first differential shaft is connected to a first steering output shaft operatively connected to at least one ground-engaging element on the first side of the vehicle. A speed reducer mounted fixedly on the chassis connects the second differential shaft to a second steering output shaft operatively connected to at least one ground-engaging element on the second side of the vehicle so that the second steering output shaft experiences the same speed change but in an opposite rotational direction as the first steering output shaft.

A hybrid transmission system with a multi-speed gearbox. The multi-speed gearbox is configured to rotationally couple a prime mover and an electric machine to different gear ratios during a hybrid drive mode. The multi-speed gearbox includes an electric drive interface gear positioned coaxial to a first primary shaft and a second primary shaft and idly mounted, free to spin, to the second primary shaft and an output shaft that includes an output shaft gear which is fixedly coupled thereto meshes with a gear on a secondary shaft.
Power split hybrid power system and hybrid vehicle
The present invention provides a power split hybrid power system and a hybrid vehicle. The hybrid power system comprises two planetary gear mechanisms sharing planetary carriers and ring gears, two motors and one engine. An output shaft of the engine is in transmission connection with a first sun gear shaft of a first sun gear, an input/output shaft of a first motor is in transmission connection with a second sun gear shaft of a second sun gear, and an input/output shaft of a second motor is in transmission connection with the ring gears. The output shaft of the engine, the input/output shaft of the first motor and the input/output shaft of the second motor can be relatively fixed to a housing of a transmission through a braking mechanism. Therefore, the power split hybrid power system can guarantee that a vehicle reaches a high speed in a pure motor driving mode so as to complete New European Driving Cycle and World Light Vehicle Test Cycle; and the engine can also be shut down at a high vehicle speed, and the dynamic property is improved in a low-speed state.

A drive device for a hybrid-drive motor vehicle, having an internal combustion engine as a primary drive, an electric engine as a secondary drive, and having planetary gear units that are coupled with one another that can be shifted into different gear steps through shift elements and brakes. The multi-speed electric axle assembly includes one or more power supplies, one or more shafts operatively coupled to the one or more power supplies and a differential, and one or more Ravigneaux gear assemblies integrated with the one or more shafts. Hybrid transaxle
A power-split hybrid transaxle uses a chain-only final drive. In addition to transferring power from the primary axis to the differential axis, the chain provides about a 2.5:1 torque multiplication. Eliminating the planetary final drive gear set traditionally associated with a chain axis transfer reduces that axial length of the transaxle and provides more space for a power take-off unit.
