A planetary gearbox includes a first planetary stage with a component, a sun gear, and a planet gear meshing with the sun gear via a toothing system, a second planetary stage, and a lubricant transfer device arranged between the first planetary stage and the second planetary stage. The lubricant transfer device includes a discharge component arranged in a co-rotating manner on a component of the second planetary stage, and a receiving component designed to receive lubricant and arranged in a co-rotating manner on the component of the first planetary stage. A lubricant conduit communicates with the lubricant transfer device and is configured to extend over an entire axial extent of a tooth engagement region of the sun gear of the first planetary stage radially within the toothing system of the sun gear with the planet gear of the first planetary stage.

Hybrid Transmission Coolant Flow Management System

A transmission assembly including a housing, an electric motor, and a baffle is provided. The housing may include first and second drainage channels. The electric motor may be disposed within the housing adjacent the drainage channels and a torque converter. The baffle may be disposed within the housing upon a housing inner surface, and may define an opening to the first and second drainage channels. The baffle may include a baffle flange sized for positioning adjacent the torque converter to minimize contact of oil within the housing to the torque converter. The housing may define first and second partition walls each partially extending over one of the first and second drainage channels. The baffle may further include first and second seal features each disposed at one of two baffle ends.

A system has an input shaft driving a first gear and supported by at least one input shaft bearing. The first gear drives at least a second gear. The second gear drives an output shaft. The output shaft is supported by at least one output shaft bearing. A gear bearing also supports at least one of the first and second gears. Lubricant movement structure is associated with at least one of the first and second gears for moving lubricant in an axial and in a radial direction to drive the lubricant toward at least one of the shaft bearing and the gear bearing. A spacecraft is also disclosed.

Hybrid module shaft assembly

A hybrid module shaft assembly includes a rotational axis, a housing with a tubular portion, a shaft extending through the tubular portion, a first seal, a first ball bearing, and a plain bearing. The tubular portion has a first distal end arranged on an engine side of the housing, and a second distal end arranged on a transmission side of the housing. The first seal is arranged to seal the shaft to the first distal end, and the first ball bearing is disposed on the engine side adjacent to the first seal to position the shaft in the tubular portion. The plain bearing is arranged at the second distal end to position the shaft.

An inner cylindrical portion 3 of the shaft is formed with an axial groove 75 which is opened to a circumferential groove 53 and with which other members of the multiplate wet clutch for regulating movement of a retaining ring 55 toward axially on the other side are to be engaged. A pressure plate 35 is formed, on a surface 36b axially on the other side thereof, with a recessed portion 77 axially opposed to an opening portion 81 of the axial groove 75 through the retaining ring 55.
