In the invention, an automated printer is used, comprising a movable printing head, loaded with an edible liquid ink, to print a design of interest upon the beverage foam. In some embodiments, the beverage is coffee and the liquid ink is a second coffee essence. The invention additionally discloses business methods comprising printing an advertisement upon a foamed portion of a beverage, or selling a beverage displaying a printed image upon a foamed portion of the beverage.

Tube exchanging device of three dimensional printer

A tube exchanging device of a three dimensional (3D) printer for allowing containers of multiple materials (tubes) to be used in printing includes a plurality of tubes and a holder. The holder comprises a first side wall and a first bottom wall, and a plurality of first clamping parts is installed on the first side wall. Each first clamping part fixes a tube on the holder, each first clamping part comprises two hooking parts, which are set in two front ends of the first clamping part. Each tube comprises a guiding surface and two locking surfaces. When the two hooking parts slide from the guiding surface to the two locking surfaces, the two hooking parts are limited by the two locking surfaces to fix the tube on the holder.

Method for improving moldability and 3D precision printing performance of high-fiber dough system by adding functional carbohydrate

A method for improving the moldability and 3D precision printing performance of a high-fiber dough system by adding functional carbohydrate, and belongs to the technical field of fruit-vegetable food processing. The method includes preparation of aged flour, beating and concentrating of old stalks of asparagus, beating of butter, adding functional carbohydrate to mix materials, 3D printing and the like. Baked aged flour, concentrated asparagus pulp made from the old stalks of asparagus, the butter and the functional carbohydrate are uniformly mixed, and then printed by means of a 3D printer. With carbohydrate being a major ingredient, the 3D printing materials provided contain rich dietary fibers, and can serve as basic food to provide energy for people. The precision of a printed object can be greatly improved by adjusting different printing parameters such as a nozzle diameter, a printing distance and a printing temperature.

Decorating system for edible products

A device, method, and computer-readable medium for printing an image on an edible media. The method including receiving from an external device associated with a consumer the image, determining whether the image is of suitable quality to be printed on the edible media, transmitting a message to the external device, in response to a determination that the image is not of suitable quality to be printed on the edible media, and performing an image processing technique on the image to enhance the image for printing on the edible media, in response to a determination that the image is of suitable quality to be printed on the edible media. The method further including transmitting a request to a printer to print the enhanced image on the edible media, and transmitting a request to the printer to print a shipping label to ship the printed edible media to the consumer.

Systems and Methods for Ordering and Preparation of Customized Comestibles

In an illustrative embodiment, systems for designing and producing customized food products include receiving a request to design a customized food product containing a printed edible medium. The systems may calculate, based on product inventory at a preferred bakery, a preparation lead time for the food product where the product inventory includes availability of printed edible media substrates. The systems may present customization user interface screens that provide customization options for the food product. The systems may convert customization option selections made at the customization user interface screens into decorating instructions for the food product and transmit the decorating instructions to the bakery. The systems may determine a position in a preparation queue for the food product based in part on attributes of pending food product orders in a preparation queue at the bakery.

A beverage assembly includes a lower layer of consumable beverage, an upper layer including a printed image, and an intermediate layer between the upper layer and the lower layer. The intermediate layer is an edible foam adapted to prevent the upper layer from dissolving in the lower layer. The edible foam is hydrophobic and may maintain a boundary between the upper layer and the lower layer for approximately 1-2 hours or more.

Three dimensional printing of biotic material originated from swiftlet edible bird nest
10736348 · 2020-08-11 ·

A system and method of printing a biotic material based object from a biotic material originated from swiftlet's edible bird nest, includes providing parameters of an object for printing; controlling a deposition of a fluid biotic material comprising a blend of water and nanometre-sized and/or micrometre-sized swiftlet edible bird nest particles to form the said object, wherein at least an outer surface region of the fluid biotic material is converted to a solid or semi-solid region after deposition & dehydration; and controlling a dehydration of said deposited fluid biotic material by accurately exposing the said deposited fluid biotic materials to a controlled environment. During and/or after the fluid biotic material deposition, an ultra-low humidity air stream is specifically channelled onto the freshly deposited fluid biotic material to accelerate the dehydration process and minimise the deposited biotic material based object or structure from deforming.
