BEVERAGE COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING A PRINTED IMAGE AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
The present disclosure provides beverages displaying an edible printed image and a method of preparing such beverages.
Confectionery item for applying an edible temporary tattoo to a person's tongue and method of producing the confectionery item
A confectionery item for applying an edible temporary tattoo to a person's tongue, including a release medium and an edible substrate configured to be insertable into the person's mouth, the release medium being securable to the substrate and coated with a layer of edible hardener onto which a transfer is printed, wherein the transfer is a representation formed of edible ink printed onto the layer of edible hardener and configured to be transferred to the person's tongue during contact therewith.
Hinged printer housing
A printer housing with an upper portion and a lower portion with a cavity there between and wherein the upper portion and lower portion are connected by one or more hinges such that the housing opens about the hinged connection between the upper portion and the lower portion to expose the cavity there between. The hinged connection allows the upper portion to be lifted up with respect to the lower portion to expose one or more printer components for access through the cavity. One or more hinges secure the upper portion to the lower portion and wherein the one or more hinges are positioned on a same perimeter side of the housing such that the housing opens about one side.
Three-dimensional printing device
A 3D printing device, which is adapted to print a second object on a first object. The 3D printing device includes a body, a 3D printing unit, a sensor unit, a storage unit, a control unit and a carrier plate. The control unit is electrically connected to the 3D printing unit, the storage unit and the sensor unit. The storage unit stores initial coordinates, and the initial coordinates correspond to an initial printing position of the 3D printing unit. The carrier plate is located at a bottom of the body and has a ocular mark. The first object is adapted to be placed on the carrier plate. The sensor unit senses a height of the first object relative to the carrier plate, and the control unit drives the 3D printing unit to print the second object on the first object according to the height and the initial coordinates.
EDIBLE INK FORMULATIONS, ARTICLES OF MANUFACTURE, AND RELATED METHODS OF FORMING IMAGES BY DROPLET DEPOSITION
Embodiments of the invention relate to edible ink formulations comprising a fluorophore (e.g. riboflavin phosphate), articles of manufacture (e.g. an ink-jet cartridge containing any edible ink formulation(s) disclosed herein), methods for printing on a edible substrates (e.g. food or beverage) using any edible ink formulation(s) disclosed herein. Methods for manufacturing the edible ink formulation are also provided.
System and Method for Making an Ice Sculpture
A system for making a three dimensional ice sculpture has a movable print head and fan mounted in a refrigerated enclosure. The print head has an inlet connected to a source of chilled water and can spray dyed or undyed water at a platform. A controller can move the print head and regulate its water outflow. A fluid can be discharged into the sprayed water at a temperature that accommodates ice formation. The sprayed water forms successive layers that freeze.
PRINT HEAD FOR PRINTING A SUSPENSION FLUID COMPRISING PARTICLES, PRINTING APPARATUS AND METHOD
The invention is directed at a print head for printing a suspension fluid. The print head comprises a nozzle having one or more nozzle outlets for allowing the suspension fluid to be ejected from the nozzle, a flow path including a supply channel for supplying the suspension fluid to the one or more nozzle outlets, and a supply pump for establishing a flow within the flow path. The nozzle further comprises an actuator for imparting pressure fluctuations on the suspension fluid at the one or more nozzle outlets for generating a stream of droplets therefrom. The flow path further comprises a shear section for locally increasing the shear rate at least at a location in the flow path upstream of the one or more nozzle outlets. The flow path further includes a return channel for allowing excess fluid not ejected from the nozzle to flow away from the one or more nozzle outlets. The shear section is configured to locally increase the shear rate to be larger than a shear rate obtained near at least one of the one or more nozzle outlets. The invention is further directed at a printing apparatus, a method of printing, and a method of manufacturing a print head.
Method for Printing on Multi-Layered, Hollow, Chocolate Figures
The present invention relates to a method for providing a multi-layered, hollow, chocolate figure with a print in edible colour preparation, comprising providing one half of a hollow, chocolate figure with one or more types of edible colour preparation by means of an elastic pad, characterised in that the printing takes place at a pressure of between 8 and 12 bar and wherein the figure is situated in a mould-half during printing.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A FOOD PRINTER, AND ALSO ASSOCIATED FOOD PRINTER AND ASSOCIATED DOMESTIC APPLIANCE
The invention relates to a method for operating a food printer, and also to a food printer having a mounting apparatus which is designed to mount the food printer in a treatment compartment of a domestic appliance, in particular in a cooking compartment of a domestic oven and/or in a refrigeration compartment of a domestic refrigerator, and the invention relates to a domestic appliance, in particular a domestic oven and/or a domestic refrigerator, having an electrical interface which is designed to electrically connect a food printer of this kind to the domestic appliance, in particular to the domestic oven and/or to the domestic refrigerator, and/or to actuate said food printer.
3D FOOD PRINTER
The present invention discloses a 3D food printer, which comprises a large hopper in a print head with a cooling system, so as to store and supply a large amount of a food material and print reliably at a high ambient temperature, and an automatic conveying system for printed products, so as to automatically output the food product after printing it, and then proceed with the next one. These features make the printer more effective, easier to operate, and in line with the requirements of food hygiene. The technical solution includes: the 3D food printer comprising a print head for extruding a food material; a cooling system for keeping the food material at a low temperature at which the food material does not melt or agglomerate; a conveying system for automatically outputting a printed food product; a frame for supporting the entire 3D food printer; a drive system for driving the 3D food printer to move in the X-, Y- and Z-directions; and a control system for controlling the operation of the entire 3D food printer.
