RESERVOIR FILLING SYSTEM FOR AN ELECTRONIC VAPING DEVICE
A reservoir refill system for an electronic vaping device includes a refill container and a reservoir. The refill container contains a pre-vapor formulation. The refill container includes a body, an opening in the body, and a first interlocking ring including at least one groove or at least one protrusion therein. The reservoir is configured to contain a pre-vapor formulation and includes a reservoir body, an opening in the reservoir body, and a second interlocking ring including at least one groove or at least one protrusion therein at an opening of the reservoir. The first interlocking ring is configured to mate with the second interlocking ring so as to release the pre-vapor formulation from the refill container to the reservoir.
MEASUREMENT AND USE OF SHAFT TORQUE IN A CONTROL VALVE
Described techniques provide direct measurement of shaft torque in control valve assemblies. The measured torque can be utilized to analyze the performance or health of the control valve. The described techniques utilize a direct measurement of shaft torque, providing a more accurate and precise measurement than an indirect or proxy measurement.
Standoff regulator
A standoff comprising a handle that is adjustably associated with a bracket, with the handle self-latching in relation to bracket at a desired position and at a desired quantifiable torque in relation to the bracket.
Butterfly valve
A butterfly valve includes a body and a gear box cover, the body having a fluid conduit and a gear platform supported on and over the fluid conduit, the gear platform configured to support a gear assembly for actuating a valve disk between an open position and a closed position, the gear box cover defining an internal cavity, the internal cavity sized to house the gear assembly, the gear box cover configured to be removably mounted to the platform such that the internal cavity is between the gear box cover and the platform.
Valve
A valve has a closing member that can be brought from a closed position into an open position by a rotational movement about an axis of rotation transverse to a through-flow direction. A shaft is connected to the closing member and comprises a shaft end. A valve housing has an adjusting device, which has an adjusting device housing and comprises a receptacle in which the shaft end can be received. In order to be able to fix the valve in a switching position, a shaft portion comprises a passage that can be made congruent with two housing-side openings. The passage and the openings can be penetrated by a securing body, and the connection between the shaft and the shaft portion is secured against release when the passage and the openings are congruent.
Throttle Device
A throttle device comprises a throttle body, a throttle gear, and a coil spring. The coil spring comprises an intermediate hook part, a return spring part that is wound in one direction from the intermediate hook part, and an opener spring part that is wound in the opposite direction from the intermediate hook part. A gear-side end part of the opener spring part is connected to the throttle gear. The throttle gear comprises a spring guide part that holds the inner circumferential side of the opener spring part. The throttle gear comprises an outer circumferential support part that abuts the outer circumferential side of the first turn of the opener spring part on the intermediate hook part side.
Smart valve adaptor with integrated electronics
The embodiments disclosed herein relate to an apparatus for monitoring a valve having a control element, wherein the control element is actuated by an actuator, having: an adaptor between the control element and the actuator, wherein the adaptor couples a valve stem of the control element to the actuator; and an electronics module contained within the adaptor, wherein the electronics module further comprises one or more sensors.
Coupling arrangement
A coupling arrangement is disclosed for the rotational coupling of a drive element of a pivoting drive of an exhaust-gas flap for the exhaust-gas flow of a combustion engine to a pivot shaft rotatable about a pivot axis. A first coupling element has a coupling region coupled to a pivot shaft for rotation about the pivot axis. A preload element generates a force acting on the first coupling element and the second coupling element in a peripheral direction with respect to one another and generates a force acting in an axial direction between the coupling elements. One of the coupling elements includes two radially outwardly extending rotational coupling projections and the other coupling element includes a rotational coupling cutout receiving the projection. The one coupling element is held axially on the other coupling element by the preload element to prevent the projections from moving out of the cutouts.
Throttle valve device and method for manufacturing throttle valve device
A throttle valve device includes a shaft in a cylindrical passage, a slit passing through the shaft from one lateral side to another lateral side of the shaft, a pair of bearings on both sides of the cylindrical passage and rotatably supporting one end part and another end part of the shaft, and a circular-plate valve inserted into the slit of the shaft and rotatable to open and close the cylindrical passage. A length of the slit on the one lateral side of the shaft is, in an axial direction of the shaft, longer than a length of the slit on the other lateral side of the shaft. A round end hole is formed at an end of the slit in the one end part of the shaft on the one lateral side of the shaft.
SHAFT BLOWOUT PREVENTION DEVICE
A valve includes a valve body defining a top end, a bottom end distal from the top end, and a shaft bore defined in the top end and the bottom end; a valve shaft positioned at least partially within the shaft bore of the valve body and defining an end bore; and a shaft blowout prevention fastener secured within the end bore of the valve shaft.
