The body assembly generally includes a body, a disc rotationally disposed inside an opening of the body, a cog, and a stem passing through the disc and the body. The handle assembly generally includes a handle body and a force ring. The stem can be rotationally interlocked relative to the disc and the handle assembly. The cog and the force ring can engage to rotationally secure the disc relative to the body. The handle assembly can include a lever and a grip, the force ring, the lever and the grip being pivotally secured relative to each other. The body can include a male radial protrusion and the body assembly can include a liner with a female radial groove. Methods of assembling and positioning a butterfly valve are also provided.
VALVE AND A MANUFACTURING METHOD OF A BEARING SURFACE FOR A VALVE
A valve and a bearing surface for a valve and a manufacturing method of the same including a valve body with a main channel extending between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, and a closing member provided in the main channel. The valve further includes a shaft connected to the closing member for moving the closing member between an open and a closed position. Moreover, the valve includes at least one bearing surface between the valve body and the closing member or the valve body and the shaft, the bearing surface further including a plurality of cavities filled with solid lubricant. An advantage of the claimed valve is that the lubricant is maintained longer on the bearing surfaces and thus lubrication periods and valve lifetime are increased.
FLAP DEVICE
A flap device for a motor vehicle comprises a flap housing that can be flowed through by a gas flow; and a flap shaft that is rotatably supported about an axis of rotation in the flap housing by means of at least a first and a second bearing element, which are held at the flap housing, and that carries a flap for selectively blocking or throttling the gas flow. The flap shaft is supported at the first bearing element in a first axial direction via a fixed abutment element that is axially fixedly arranged with respect to the flap shaft. The flap shaft is supported at the second bearing element in a second axial direction, which is oriented opposite the first axial direction, via a movable abutment element that is axially displaceably seated on the flap shaft, with the movable abutment element being preloaded in a direction toward the second bearing element by means of a spring device, and with the spring device in this respect being supported at a support surface fixed to the shaft and thus pressing the fixed abutment element against the first bearing element.
BUTTERFLY VALVE
In this butterfly valve (10) provided with: a main body (11); valve shafts (13, 14); and a valve body (30) that is rotatable with respect to the main body, the valve body is formed integrally from a core material (32) and a contour forming member (31) that is formed from a synthetic resin material and that encircles the core material and forms the contour of the valve body. The valve body has bearing holes (33, 34) that support the valve shafts, the contour forming member has a bearing inner peripheral part (36) that forms at least a part of the inner peripheral surface of each of the bearing holes, the contour forming member is formed continuously with the bearing inner peripheral part, and the core material has a bearing reinforcing part (35) that supports the bearing inner peripheral part of the contour forming member, radially outside from the rotation axis of the valve body.
Valve provided with a stabilizing member secured to the flap and exhaust line equipped with such a valve
A valve comprises a flap, a tubular valve body defining an exhaust gas flow passage, and a device to guide the flap relative to the valve body to allow the flap to pivot relative to the valve body around a pivot axis between a closing position and a freed position of the exhaust gas flow passage. The flap has two large faces substantially parallel to one another and connected to one another by an edge of the flap. The guide device comprises a pin, a distal, end and a base. The valve also comprises a stabilizing member secured to the flap.
Fluid flow control device having a draining body bearing
A fluid flow control device includes a valve body forming a channel defining a fluid flow path extending from an inlet to an outlet, a shaft having a first portion and a second portion, a flow control member coupled to the first portion of the shaft, and a bearing comprising an elongated body having a first end, a second end, an inner surface defining an interior volume, and an outer surface. The bearing is dimensioned to accommodate the shaft in the interior volume and includes at least one opening extending between the inner surface and the outer surface and at least one elongated channel formed on the outer surface. The elongated channel extends a length between the first end and the second end of the elongated body.
Eccentric valve
An eccentric valve has a drive mechanism, a drive force receiving part, a bearing for supporting a rotary shaft, and a return spring for generating a return spring force. During non-operation of the drive mechanism, the eccentric valve generates a separating-direction urging force to cause the rotary shaft to incline about the bearing serving as a fulcrum and urge the valve element in a direction away from the valve seat, the separating-direction urging force being a force caused by the return spring force. Either the valve element or the valve seat is provided with a sealing member to seal between the valve element and the valve seat during non-operation of the drive mechanism.
Valve for exhaust line
A valve comprises a valve body delimiting a passage for exhaust gases, a flap arranged in the valve body, and a drive shaft configured to drive the flap, and which is integrally secured to the flap. At least one guide bearing is configured to guide the drive shaft of the flap in rotation in relation to the valve body, and is connected to the valve body. The valve also includes an actuator and a transmission comprising an adapter rigidly attached directly to the drive shaft of the flap. The transmission is arranged in order to transmit a motor torque between the actuator and the adapter. The adapter has a contact surface that is in sealed contact with a complementary surface provided on the guide bearing.
Valve with a ball bearing and exhaust line comprising said valve
The valve includes a valve body that inwardly defines a passage for circulation of a fluid, a drive shaft, and a bearing to guide the rotation of the drive shaft. The bearing comprises a chamber surrounding a segment of the drive shaft and a plurality of balls filling the chamber. The balls are free inside the chamber, and the chamber is completely filled with balls. The balls are in contact with the drive shaft along all or part of the segment.
DEVICE FOR SELECTIVELY STORING AND MIXING FIRST AND SECOND LIQUIDS
A device for selectively storing and mixing two liquids. The device comprises a first interior portion for storing a first liquid, a second interior portion for storing a second liquid, and a valve intermediate to the first and second interior portions. The valve moves between at least two positions, a first position preventing the first and second liquids from mixing, and a second position allowing the first and second liquids to mix. The valve includes a first member protruding from a first side and a second member protruding from a second side.
