A diaphragm valve includes an outer wall section for valve seat mounting provided in a primary-side opening section, a stepped section provided on the inner periphery of the outer wall section, a seat ring press-fitted into and fixed to the stepped section, a flange section provided in the seat ring, and a press-fitting groove for valve seat mounting configured with a space between the seat ring and the outer wall section and the flange section, in which a valve seat press-fitted into and fixed to the press-fitting groove has an upper portion slightly protruding in a state where an extension section covers a position in the vicinity of a top portion of the outer wall section and an extension section the inner periphery of which is decreased in the upper portion of the valve seat covers a position in the vicinity of a top portion of the seat ring.

INSTALLING VALVE TRIM IN A VAVLE ASSEMBLY

A tool configured for use to assemble and install trim into a steam conditioning valve. These configurations can include a device that mounts in place of a bonnet and an actuator that technicians remove from the valve. The device can cantilever the trim assembly, essentially providing a platform on which technicians can slide the trim assembly into the valve body (or out of the valve body) to complete install or repair of the device. As an added benefit, technicians can also use the device to assemble the trim in proximity to the subject valve.

GLOBE VALVE ASSEMBLY

A valve assembly for controlling a flow of a substance through the valve assembly includes a valve body defining an inlet, an outlet, and a volume therebetween and a sleeve disposed in at least a portion of the volume, an interior of the sleeve having a first opening in fluid communication with the inlet and a second opening in communication with the outlet. The valve assembly also includes a seat ring releasably held in place in the valve body by the sleeve at at least one of the first opening or the second opening. The valve assembly further includes a stem disposed in the sleeve and a plug releasably engaged to the stem and configured to contact the seat ring to control the flow of the substance through the valve assembly.

CHECK VALVE

A check valve includes a valve element and a valve body having a body housing, an annular valve seat insert, a bushing, and a biasing member. The body housing includes an outer circumferential wall extending between an inlet port and an outlet port to define a valve cavity therebetween. The valve seat insert is seated in a body seat surface surrounding the inlet port. The bushing is disposed in the valve cavity and defines a central bore, with the bushing including an outboard end surface axially engageable with the valve seat insert. The biasing member is disposed between a bearing portion of the body housing and an inboard end of the bushing to allow for axial movement of the bushing with respect to the body seat surface. The valve element extends through the bushing central bore and is movable between a closed position and an open position.

VALVE PLUGS HAVING CURVED NOTCHES

Valve plugs having curved notches are described herein. An example valve plug includes a first section defining a first end, a second section defining a second end opposite the first end, and a third section located between the first and second sections, the third section including a curved notch formed inwardly from a periphery of the third section toward a longitudinal axis of the valve plug defined by the first, second and third sections.

DRIVING MECHANISM FOR A CONTROL VALVE AND A CONTROL VALVE
20170343130 · 2017-11-30 · ·

The driving mechanism has a tubular housing coupled to a control valve and housing an activating cylinder and an activated cylinder, cooperating with each other and respectively coupled to a rod of a wheel and a sealing device. The driving mechanism presents: an inoperative condition, in which the activated cylinder is maintained in a closing position of the control valve; a first operative condition, obtained by the rotation of the activating cylinder in a first sense and in which the activated cylinder is maintained in a first opening position, until the activating cylinder is rotated in an opposite sense, returning the activated cylinder to its closing position; and a second operative condition, obtained by rotation of the activating cylinder in a second sense and in which the activated cylinder reaches a second opening position, from which it is automatically displaced back to its closing position, in a timed manner.

Turbocharger

A turbocharger for a motor vehicle has a housing and a valve seat in the housing. The valve seat is retained in an interlocking manner in the housing by at least one elastic securing element.

VALVE SEAT SUPPORT

A valve seat support for a solenoid valve consists of a sleeve-shaped support housing for accommodating a valve seat body, which is produced from a plastic and which has the contour of a hollow cylinder. The support housing has, on the periphery thereof, a plurality of small-surface recesses, which are directly radially inward and which are surrounded by the plastic of the valve seat body on all sides in order to establish an interlocking connection between the support housing and the valve seat body.

Valve with an Alternating Seat System

A valve with removable components is provided. The valve includes a housing in which a seat is arranged between a flow inlet and a flow outlet. A shut-off body displaceable by a displacing element is arranged to shut off flow through the seat. The shut-off body displacing element is surrounded at least partially by a guide sleeve which is connected to the seat in a manner which allows the seat to be removed with the guide sleeve, shut-off body and shut-off body displacing element.

Valve trim having adjustable fluid flow characteristics and related methods

Valve trim and related methods are described. An example valve trim includes a cage defining a body having a bore to receive a valve plug. The cage includes a first passageway through a side surface of the body. The first passageway has an axis that is non-parallel relative to a longitudinal axis of the bore. A valve seat is to receive the cage. The valve seat has a first projection defining a first opening. The cage to be positioned relative to the valve seat in a first orientation to align the first opening and the first passageway to provide a first flow characteristic. The cage to be positioned relative to the valve seat in a second orientation to offset an alignment between the first projection and the first passageway to provide a second flow characteristic different than the first flow characteristic.
