Securing a seat in a valve
A locking mechanism is configured to secure a seat on a valve. The configurations may include a pin with a tapered end. The pin extends into the valve body to engage with an engagement feature, like a slot, on the seat. The slot may reside on the downstream side of the seat. This location can provide ready access to the pin, for example, through various feature found on the valve body, such as a boss. For steam conditioning valves, the locking mechanism may prove useful because it allows the seat to easily remove from the valve body.
Apparatuses and systems for regulating fluids through a pipe and methods of using the same
Apparatuses regulate the flow of fluids, such as, for example, water or other like fluids, through pipes. The apparatuses comprise a poppet valve having a spheroid-shaped valve portion and one or more shims for adjusting effective spring length during use thereof. Specifically and without being bound by theory, the apparatuses of the present invention creates a backward pressure in fluid traversing a pipe, wherein the backward pressure within the pipe provides compression to the fluid effectively compressing entrapped gas bubbles within the fluid, allowing more accurate water meter measurements. Moreover, the apparatuses of the present invention provide backflow prevention. Systems and methods for regulating the flow of fluids within a pipe are further provided.
Servo valves
A nozzle of or for a servo valve comprises a nozzle element having a fluid outlet at a first axial end and a tubular body extending from the first end to an opposed, second axial end. The nozzle further comprises a plug element mounted in and closing the second axial end of the tubular body, thereby defining an internal cavity within the tubular body. One or more openings are formed through the tubular body to fluidly communicate with the internal cavity. A filter may be mounted across the internal cavity at a position axially intermediate the openings and the fluid outlet.
Systems and methods for piston check valves
A piston check valve system includes a body including an upstream end and a downstream end, a bonnet secured to a proximal opening of the body, and a piston secured within the body, the piston being moveable between a closed position in which the piston rests upon a valve seat and an open position in which the piston is spaced away from the valve seat. The piston check valve system also includes a retainer configured to guide and retain the piston and to secure the valve seat within the body.
Air valve seat and land
A sealing device for an air valve can include a seat; a valve device configured to seal against the seat, the valve device being a poppet and comprising a guide shaft defining a bore extending from the bottom end of the poppet to the top end of the poppet; and a lever arm including a button, removably coupled to the poppet, and configured to engage with and seal the bore of the poppet, the button including a first contacting portion and a second contacting portion.
VALVE STRUCTURE WITH BUILT-IN VALVE SEAT OF PRE-ACTION WARNING VALVE
The present invention discloses a valve structure with a built-in valve seat of a pre-action warning valve, including: a valve body, a valve cap, a valve seat, and a membrane clack. The pre-action warning valve provided in the present invention has the advantages of being simple, reliable, and low in manufacturing costs.
Valve
Provided is a valve for high-pressure gas, wherein a sheet member is provided inside a through hole formed in a valve body of the valve, wherein the sheet member constitutes a channel for high-pressure gas inside the through hole, wherein the sheet member is fixed inside the through hole by a pressing member, wherein an end opening of the through hole is closed by a lid member, wherein a gasket is provided at a peripheral part of the end opening of the through hole, wherein the gasket is sandwiched between the lid member and the valve body, wherein the lid member is pressed toward the valve body by a plug, and wherein a bearing is provided between the plug and the lid member.
Valve unit
A valve unit includes a valve housing having an input line and an output line or the process pressure as well as a process guide shaft, an operating piston for closing and opening a connection between the two lines, two control lines and two control chambers for controlling the operating piston. The operating piston has a closing ring which in the closed state of the connection sealingly abuts a valve seat of the valve housing and it has a diameter which corresponds to a guide diameter of a dynamic process seal. The valve seat includes a softer and more elastic material than the sealing edge. The valve unit has low axial forces, due to low sealing forces, thus makes a long service life with a high number of cycles of operation possible.
Quick change valve trim assembly
A pressure regulator includes a valve body having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet connected by a fluid passageway. An orifice is disposed between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. A valve seat is disposed within the fluid passageway. A movable valve plug is disposed within the fluid passageway, and the valve plug interacts with the valve seat to selectively open or close the fluid passageway. A cage is disposed in the fluid passageway, the cage surrounds the valve plug, and the cage includes a mechanical stop that limits movement of the valve plug within the cage away from the valve seat.
