INLINE VALVE FOR SPRINKLER HEAD REPLACEMENT
20210154505 · 2021-05-27 ·

A terminal fixture is provided for installation at the end of each sprinkler head drop in a fire protection system. The terminal fixture is an automatic valve device that operates in response to the installation or removal of a sprinkler head from the fixture itself. When the sprinkler head is removed the terminal valve operates to close the end of the sprinkler drop feed line to prevent flow of fire protection fluid by preventing an open system. When a sprinkler head is reinstalled into the valve, the valve plunger is automatically displaced to an open position to restore full and unobstructed flow to the sprinkler head returning the drop to full and operable status. In this manner, no manual valves are added to the system which would prevent failsafe operation thereof.

Waste gate valve for turbocharger

A waste gate valve for a turbocharger is provided that improves control responsivity, wear resistance and the flow uniformity of diverted exhaust gas by improving the operational structure thereof. The waste gate valve includes a turbine housing in which a portion of a bypass passage is formed along the inner circumferential surface of a discharge passage. A mixer ring includes bypass apertures therein that are arranged along the bypass passage formed in the inner circumferential surface of the discharge passage. Additionally, a control valve is configured to open or close the bypass apertures based on movement thereof.

High flow multi-way piston valve for deposition systems

A valve assembly used with a process chamber for depositing a film on a wafer. A valve body surrounds a bore and includes an inlet, a first outlet and a second outlet, at least one of them exiting into the process chamber. A piston includes a first section having a first flow path, and a second section having a second flow path. A linear motion actuator is adapted to couple with the piston and controls linear movement of the piston through the bore between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the first section of the piston is aligned with the inlet such that fluid flows to the first outlet via the first flow path. In the second position, the second section of the piston is aligned with the inlet such that fluid flows to the second outlet via the second flow path.

CIRCUMFERENTIALLY-SECTIONED VALVE CAGES

Circumferentially-sectioned valve cages are disclosed. An example apparatus comprises a plurality of cage sections collectively configured to be removably coupled together to form a valve cage having a circumference and a plurality of joints. The joints correspond in number to the cage sections and are spaced apart from one another about the circumference. Respective ones of the joints are defined by neighboring ones of the cage sections.

Valve system

A valve is provided which is based on a stationary sleeve. The stationary sleeve includes at least one coil in communication with an electrical power source and one or more openings in the body of the stationary sleeve open to the hollow interior of the stationary sleeve. The valve has a microcontroller configured to control flow of electrical current independently to the coil and an inner sleeve configured to fit within the stationary sleeve. The inner sleeve has an internal or external magnetized portion and one or more ports open to the hollow interior of the inner sleeve. The inner sleeve is moveable within the stationary sleeve under power provided by a magnetic field generated by the electrical current passing through the coil to either align the ports with the openings to open the valve or to remove alignment of the ports with the openings to close the valve.

A valve having a metal insert with a fluid passage formed in the metal insert. A composite valve body is disposed at least partially around the metal insert and having at least one port in fluid communication) with the fluid passage with the metal insert. A valve member is partially disposed in the metal insert and operable to control the fluid flow through the fluid passage of the metal insert and parts of the valve body.

Supplying apparatus of granular material

A supplying apparatus of granular material including a storage container storing granular material and a supplying portion having a columnar valve body sliding along an opening direction of a guide hole provided for the storage container. The supplying portion supplies granular material to a supply destination; the valve body includes a material supplying passage penetrating the valve body so as to provide an inlet and an outlet on a side circumferential face and includes a closing portion closing the guide hole when the valve body is at a closed position, the closing portion being provided in the guide hole; and the material supplying passage slants in such a manner that the inlet opens in the storage container and the outlet opens outside the storage container when the valve body is at a supply position supplying granular material.

Atomization device and electronic cigarette with the same

The present disclosure provides an atomization device including a liquid storage cavity, a liquid injection opening, and an injection structure; the injection structure includes an injection tube and a sealing member; the injection tube runs through the liquid injection opening and extends into the liquid storage cavity, and a liquid inlet is formed in a side wall of the injection tube; the sealing member is arranged on one end of the injection tube in the liquid storage cavity; the sealing member is sealed from an inner wall of the liquid storage cavity, and separates the liquid inlet from the liquid storage cavity. When the injection tube is pushed into the liquid storage cavity, the liquid inlet moves into the liquid injection opening to communicate with the liquid storage cavity. When the injection tube is not pushed, the injection tube separates the liquid inlet from the liquid storage cavity.

Valve with Expandable Sleeve Fitted Over Perforated Walls of Inlet and Outlet Channels to Control Flow Therebetween

A valve features an outer housing, in which there are provided inlet and outlet channels respectively reaching into the housing from inlet and outlet openings thereof. The two channels are axially closed at adjacent inner ends thereof, but feature perforated circumferential walls. A resiliently expandable sleeve is disposed around the circumferential walls in a position normally overlying the perforations, while leaving a gap between the sleeve and inner surfaces of the housing. A charging port communicates with the gap to enable pressurization thereof. Pressurization of the gap normally holds the sleeve tightly over the perforations to prevent flow from one channel to the other. When pressure in the inlet channel exceeds the pressure in the charging chamber, the sleeve radially expands from the circumferential walls of the channels to uncover the perforations and allow fluid to flow between the channels.

Globe valve and arrangement for a globe valve

An arrangement for a globe valve for adjusting a process fluid can include a valve housing having an inlet and an outlet connected by a passage, a valve cage to linearly guide a valve member of the globe valve in an axial direction, and a position lock (securing device). The valve cage can include a passage channel(s) extending transversely in the axial direction. The valve cage can be arranged in the valve housing where: the valve cage circumferentially surrounds the passage opening with respect to the axial direction, and a radial outer side of the valve cage with respect to the axial direction is in contact with a radial inner side of the valve housing with respect to the axial direction. The position lock fixes a relative position of the valve cage relative to the valve housing and arranged on the radial outer side and/or on the radial inner side.
