The sleeve body includes at least one metering window open to the bore and is moveable between a metering position to control flow through the metering window and a shutoff position where flow is prevented from exiting an outlet end of the bore. A seal assembly reacts between the spool body and the sleeve body to provide at least a first sealing interface and a second sealing interface axially spaced from the first sealing interface when the spool body is in the shutoff position. A metering valve for a fuel system is also disclosed.

Anti-icing systems
10046859 · 2018-08-14 · ·

A bleed air pressure regulation system for an aircraft anti-icing system comprises a first, upstream pressure regulating valve and a second, downstream pressure regulating valve arranged in series in a bleed airflow path. The respective pressure regulating valves each have a regulating pressure chamber in fluid communication with a respective pressure setting valve. Each pressure setting valve is in fluid communication with a bleed air inlet upstream of the first, upstream pressure regulating valve. The first, upstream pressure regulating valve is set to regulate the pressure of the bleed air to a first pressure and the second, downstream pressure regulating valve is set to regulate the pressure of the bleed air to a second pressure which is higher than the first pressure.

SOLENOID VALVE
20180195640 · 2018-07-12 · ·

A solenoid valve includes a main valve that controls a flow rate of a working fluid, a sleeve in which the main valve is slidably inserted, and a solenoid unit that displaces the main valve. The sleeve includes a slide support and a large-diameter portion. The main valve is slidably supported by the slide support. The large-diameter portion is closer to an open end of the insertion hole than the slide support is, and has a diameter larger than an outer diameter of the slide support. The sleeve is fixed inside the insertion hole by causing the large-diameter portion to be pushed against the valve block by the solenoid unit.

Cage valve with instrumentation

A cage valve, flow trim components, and method for signalling erosion of flow trim. The valve is of the type having flow trim arranged across an inlet bore and aligned with an outlet bore, and including a stationary tubular cage and an internal or external flow control member such as a plug or flow collar slidable along the side wall of the cage to cover or uncover flow ports in the side wall. The flow control member includes an end plate which closes an upstream end of the cage. A cavity is formed in the flow control member upstream of the end plate. A transmitter, such as a proximity beacon, positioned in the cavity transmits a first signal indicative of intact flow trim when no fluid is in the beacon cavity and transmits a zero value signal or no signal indicative of eroded flow trim when fluid enters the cavity.

Valve having open-center spool with separated inserts

A spool assembly is disclosed for use in a valve. The spool assembly may have a cylindrical body with a first end, a second end, and a bore passing from the first end through the second end. The spool assembly may also have a first insert with a first land slidably disposed inside the bore at the first end, and a second insert separate from the first insert. The second insert may have a second land slidably disposed inside the bore at the second end.

An anti-freeze faucet contains: a first pipe, a second pipe, a check valve, and a control valve. The first pipe includes a hollow portion, an orifice, an outlet, and an inflow segment having two inlets. The second inserts into the hollow portion and includes a first connection segment, a second connection segment, and an air conduit, wherein the first connection segment has an air hole. The check valve is accommodated in the inflow segment and corresponding to the two inlets. The control valve is housed in the hollow portion and includes a base, a fitting bushing, and a coupling holder, wherein the base has two channels, and between the base and the fitting bushing is defined an accommodation chamber, the coupling holder has a rotation disc with a cold-water vent and a hot-water vent, and the coupling holder has multiple first openings and multiple second openings.

Valve for handling air supply to squeezing pads in a lift head
09810330 · 2017-11-07 · ·

The present invention relates to a valve to be used when blowing air into squeezing pads from a high pressure blower such as a side duct blower, said valve comprising a valve chamber comprising a primary set of openings with a first opening connected to said high pressure blower and a second opening connected to said squeezing pads, whereby air can be transferred through said valve chamber between said squeezing pads and said high pressure blower, said valve chamber further comprising a third opening, whereby air from said first opening can pass through said third opening, and where air not passing through said third opening passes through said second opening, said valve further comprising a valve spool for blocking said third opening and thereby changing the amount of air passing through said third opening. The valve spool for blocking said third opening comprises a limiter element, wherein said limiter element and/or said third opening has a varying diameter along its longitudinal axis, where the limiter element is adapted to be inserted along its longitudinal axis in said third opening, and where the extent of insertion of said limiter element changes the amount of air passing through said third opening. The invention further relates to a lift head with the above valve.

CONTROL VALVE
