VALVE WITH PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL SEATING
A valve for use in oil and gas production or similar applications includes a plug or other flow barrier disposed in a cavity of a hollow valve body with a metal-to-metal sealing surface that is not reliant on any rubberized or elastomeric material to effect a seal.
EZE-TOP BALL VALVE
A top-entry trunnion ball valve comprising: a housing formed having first and second fluid flow ports, a cavity through which fluid flows when the valve is open and a top opening through which the cavity is accessible; a ball housed in the cavity formed having a through hole for passage of fluid and rotatable between open and closed positions; a cartridge in the cavity sealed to the housing and comprising a seat sealed to the ball; wherein the cartridge and top opening are sized to enable the cartridge to be inserted into and sealed to the housing and removed from the cavity via the top opening.
BIDIRECTIONAL CRYOGENIC FIRESAFE FLOATING BALL VALVE
A firesafe bidirectional floating ball valve comprising: a housing having a cavity and first and second fluid flow ports through which fluid flows selectively in either direction from the first to the second or the second to the first fluid ports when the valve is open; a ball formed having a through hole for passage of fluid housed in the cavity and rotatable to open the valve and allow fluid flow through the fluid ports and cavity and to close the valve and block fluid flow through the fluid ports and cavity; first and second annular seats that hold and seal the ball between them; and an annular ridge coaxial with the first seat and having an end surface spaced from the first seat by a narrow clearance space; wherein with the valve closed net pressure on the ball in a direction from the second fluid flow port to the first fluid flow port operates to displace the ball and apply force to the first annular seat that closes the clearance space.
Ball valve system
A ball valve positioned between a first line and a second line includes a housing and a ball disposed a ball disposed within the housing. The ball includes a bore and is configured to rotate between an open position and a closed position. The ball valve also includes an annular seat disposed between the housing and the ball. The annular seat includes a first annular sealing ring extending circumferentially about a radially-outer surface of the annular seat and an axially-extending passageway extending through the annular seat to enable fluid flow from a valve cavity to an annular space between the annular seat and the housing. The first annular sealing ring, the axially-extending passageway, and the annular space facilitate movement of the annular seat away from the ball as the ball rotates from the closed position toward the open position.
CHOKE VALVE WITH INTERNAL SLEEVE FOR EROSION PROTECTION
An assembly and method for a choke valve body having a choke valve to control flow of fluids. A sleeve positioned in and attached to the choke valve body to flow the fluids through an inner sleeve region internal to the sleeve instead of an outer sleeve region external to the sleeve.
VALVE DEVICE
A sleeve member of a movable unit has a first pressure receiving surface and a second pressure receiving surface. The first pressure receiving surface receives a first fluid pressure in an axial direction opposite to a biasing force of a spring, when a valve member closes a seat opening portion. The second pressure receiving surface receives a second fluid pressure in the same axial direction to a direction of the biasing force of the spring, when the valve member closes the seat opening portion. A first surface area and a second surface area are made to be equal to each other. Each of the first and the second surface areas is an area of a projected portion on a virtual plane perpendicular to the axial direction. Each of the projected portions is obtained when each of the first and the second pressure receiving surfaces is projected to the virtual plane.
A VALVE SEAL DEVICE
A valve seal device is for a valve in a pipeline. The valve seal device has four moveable seats configured for sealingly contacting a valve member, two seats being positioned on each side of the valve member. At least one of the moveable seats on each side of the valve member is an actuation seat being controllable from a non-contact position to a contact position where it seals against the valve member.
Rotary type valve device
Provided is a rotary type valve device capable of being easily assembled and securing desired sealing performance. The rotary type valve device includes a rotor having an internal passage formed around an axis and an opening portion which opens outward from the internal passage to an outer contour surface in a radial direction, a housing supporting the rotor to be rotatable around the axis and defining an axial passage communicating with the internal passage and a radial passage facing the outer contour surface and capable of communicating with the opening portion, a passage member disposed in the housing to define a part of the radial passage, and a biasing spring biasing the passage member toward the outer contour surface. The housing comprises a housing body accommodating the rotor, and a holding member coupled to the housing body and having a tubular portion holding the biasing spring and the passage member.
