Pinch Clamp for Flexible Tubing
The pinch clamp has a locking assembly that includes two members for securing the jaw assemblies of the pinch clamp in place. The two members are a stud and a nut threaded on the stud. The stud has a spherical base pivotally mounted on an end of one jaw assembly and an arcuate boss projecting from the spherical base into mating sliding relation with the arcuate recess of the jaw assembly to limit pivoting of the base to a single plane. A threaded stern extends from the spherical base and is disposed in a bifurcation of the jaw assembly.
Pinch clamp devices, methods, and systems
A tube clamp closes a flexible tube by applying a pinching force to walls of the flexible tube. The clamp includes a housing connected to a circular flange, the circular flange including a tubular wall surrounding a central bore and including at least one slot in the tubular wall sized to accept the flexible tube. A pinching element is positioned inside the central bore and is rotatable about a central axis of the circular flange. The pinching element includes a pinching projection that has a cross-sectional shape bound by a partial circle, and the partial circle has a radius substantially same as an inner radius of the tubular wall.
Flow resistor, flow rate control device, and flow rate control method
A flow resistor includes a housing, a pipe, and an adjuster. The housing includes a through hole including a first hole portion and a second hole portion. The pipe includes a first extending portion and a second extending portion that extends in a direction different from an extending direction of the first extending portion. The adjuster includes a through hole. The pipe is inserted into the through hole of the housing, the first extending portion is positioned in the first hole portion, and the second extending portion is positioned in the second hole portion. The adjuster is positioned in the second hole portion and is a member movable toward the second extending portion. The through hole of the adjuster couples a space between the adjuster and the pipe with an outside of the flow resistor, in the second hole portion.
Flow rate regulating fluidic connector between two ducts
A fluidic connector to connect two ducts of a system such as an air conditioning system. The connector includes at least one elastic material, and includes a duct surrounded by an adjustable clamping collar which, when tightened, serves to deform it to reduce the internal space of the duct. The clamping of the collar makes it possible to easily and quickly regulate the rate of flow in the ducts.
PINCH VALVE
A pinch valve assembly is provided for compression of a fluid conduit comprising an assembly housing (1); an interchangeable compressor element (2); an interchangeable holder element (3) for holding a fluid conduit, the holder element facing the interchangeable compressor element; the valve assembly being configured such that the compressor element is moveable towards the holder element within the assembly housing for compression of a fluid conduit between the compressor and the holder elements.
Pinch valve
The pinch valve includes a valve member movable to compress or pinch a resilient tubular element extending through a passage of a housing or body of the valve to varying extents to regulate or prevent fluid flow through the tubular element. The valve member includes a valve head configured to pinch the tubular element through a range of progressively more flow restrictive crescent shapes into a generally U-shape, and while doing so cooperates with side surfaces of the body or housing to bend or fold over lateral end portions of the tubular element that form distal ends of the U-shape. The valve member additionally includes pinch shoulders that follow the pinch head and secondarily pinch or compress the folded over end portions together to complete closure of the tubular element as the U-shape is pinched closed, to prevent leaking, trapping of fluids, and damaging the tubular element under high fluid pressures.
Self-closing aquarium valve
Self-closing aquarium valves to consistently acclimate fish to temperature and pH of a new tank with minimal monitoring are described. The self-closing aquarium valve includes a frame, an automatic stopper hingedly connected to the frame that closes automatically, and a hose that provides fluid communication from the new tank to a holding tank, and an adjustable flow control. The self-closing aquarium valve provides consistent acclimation of a fish from the holding tank to a new tank through the adjustable flow control with minimal monitoring with the automatic stopper.
Pinch valve
The invention relates to a pinch valve comprising at least a body having connecting flanges, a sleeve made of elastic material and an actuator, wherein said pinch valve comprises first pinching means that is movable towards the sleeve, wherein as a response to an operation of the actuator, said first pinching means squeezes the sleeve at least partially to control a flow in said sleeve. In the pinch valve, the sleeve is curved, and said connecting flanges are not parallel, whereupon said sleeve is fixed to the body in such a manner that openings of said sleeve are not parallel either.
