Pison valve with annular passages
A water delivery control system operates to selectively deliver water from a water source to water use devices. The system includes a master controller that wirelessly communicates messages with a plurality of slave controllers. The system includes a valve slave controller associated with a water control valve and a motor that is operative to selectively move at least one valve element of the valve. A water meter is operative to measure water flow that corresponds to flow through the valve. The master controller is operable to cause the valve slave controller to enable or prevent flow through the valve responsive at least in part to water flow data. The controller is operative to determine a water use condition responsive to a water usage pattern, and to cause at least one message to be sent to a portable user device responsive to the determined water use condition. The user interface slave controller is associated with a user interface.
COMPACT VALVE
In one embodiment, a fluid dynamics system includes a solenoid valve including a valve body, which includes a valve cavity having a direction of elongation, a first channel, and a second channel, a solenoid coil disposed in the valve body around the valve cavity, and a plunger comprising a magnetic element and configured to move back-and-forth along the direction of elongation between a first position and a second position in the valve cavity, selectively opening the first channel and closing the second channel when the plunger is in the first position, and closing the first channel and opening the second channel when the plunger is in the second position, and a controller configured to control the solenoid coil to selectively move the plunger between the first position and the second position, and to selectively maintain the plunger in the first position and the second position.
Modular Valve Assembly
A modular valve assembly can include a core spool module and a plurality of end connection modules. The end connection modules can be configured to be secured to the core spool module at one or more of a core inlet or a core outlet of the core spool module to provide one or more respective, different flow configurations for the modular valve assembly. The core spool module can include a bonnet portion that is integrally formed with the core inlet and the core outlet and a seat ring configured to provide a seal against flow of process fluid through the modular valve assembly.
Servo valve
A servo valve comprising: a fluid transfer valve assembly comprising a supply port and a control port (P.sub.A, P.sub.B); a moveable valve spool arranged to regulate flow of fluid from the supply port to the control port in response to a control signal; and a drive means configured to axially move the valve spool relative to the fluid transfer assembly in response to the control signal to regulate the fluid flow; wherein the drive means comprises a piezo actuator element mounted within and axially movable with the valve spool, the piezo actuator configured to extend axially in response to the control signal to cause corresponding axially movement of the spool.

Three-Port Proportional Flow Control Valve with an Integrated Turbine for Flow Rate Sensing
An example valve includes: a plurality of ports comprising: a first port, a second port, and a third port; a spool configured to block fluid flow from the first port to the third port while allowing fluid flow from the third port to the second port when the valve is in an unactuated state; a spring applying a biasing force on the spool in a proximal direction, wherein when the valve is actuated, the spool moves in a distal direction against the spring, thereby allowing fluid flow from the first port to the third port while blocking fluid flow from the third port to the second port; and a turbine configured to rotate as fluid flows from the first port to the third port when the valve is in an actuated state.
Valve
A valve, having a valve housing, in which a housing interior is formed, in which a movable valve slide is located. The valve slide is impinged upon by a compression spring that is supported via a supporting element on the valve housing. The supporting element has a supporting wall, from which a plurality of supporting arms protrudes, which axially overlap the valve slide in each axial position. On the supporting arms guide surfaces are formed for linear guidance of the valve slide. The supporting arms are springily deflectable and in each case have a radial support surface, with which they are supported on the valve housing.

IMPROVEMENTS IN, OR RELATING TO, SLIDING SPOOL VALVES, AND METHODS THEREFOR
Disclosed is a spool valve to valve a fluid between at least one inlet port and at least one outlet port, having a bore with a spool operably associated therein. The bore has one or more inlet ports and at least one outlet port. Located in the bore is at least one in-bore seal, the seal fluidly sealing on a seal outer diameter to an inside diameter of the bore, and selectively fluidly sealing on a seal inside diameter to a spool outside diameter. Present also is at least one spacer located in the bore, adjacent the at least one in-bore seal having a fluid communication from a spacer internal diameter to a spacer external diameter with at least one inlet port, or the at least one outlet port. The spool moves to allow or prevent flow from an inlet port to outlet port.
Valve, hydraulic system and motor vehicle gearbox
A valve (V, V1, V2) includes a housing (VG) and a piston (VK) displaceably guided therein. A first end (VK1) of the piston (VK) can be acted upon by a force, with the aid of which the piston (VK) is displaceable against a spring (F) acting upon a second end (VK2) of the piston (VK). The valve (V, V1, V2) has four switching conditions, in which four ports (A, B, P, T) in the housing (VG) are selectively connectable to one another or blocked with respect to one another. In a first switching condition, none of the ports (A, B, P, T) are connected to one another. The spring (F) is configured in such that, in the absence of an application of force onto the first end (VK1), the piston (VK) is held in a position, which corresponds to the first switching condition of the valve (V, V1, V2).
