Crankcase ventilation system with constant restriction in the flow direction and free flow in an opposite direction

A breach detection system for an internal combustion engine having a crankcase, an intake manifold, a positive crankcase ventilation valve, a crankcase ventilation tube with a flow control system therein, and a pressure sensor between the flow control system and the crankcase. The flow control system subdivides the crankcase ventilation tube into a plurality of parallel conduits—a first conduit having a normally closed check valve that opens under a first preselected pressure drop in a first direction from the air intake to the crankcase, and a second conduit having either a second check valve that opens under a second preselected pressure drop in a second direction opposite the first direction or a restriction profile having a third preselected pressure drop that is the same in both the first and second direction. When the pressure sensor detects no pressure drop there is a breach in the system.

DOUBLE SEALING CHECK VALVE FOR RICE COOKER

The present disclosure relates to a double sealing check valve for a rice cooker, and more particularly, to a double sealing check valve for a rice cooker that prevents water vapor mixed with rice water and grain dregs from entering the check valve and maintains airtightness during cooking in an automatic water supply type pressure cooker that automatically supplies water and performs pressure cooking.

The double sealing check valve for a rice cooker that is mounted on a lid of a rice cooker to prevent leakage of steam generated during cooking, including: an upper part having a plate shape and including a water supply portion; a check valve opening and closing the water supply portion of the upper part by a vertical movement; a lower part coupled to the upper part, allowing the check valve to be installed to be movable up and down therein, and having a flow path and a water outlet to allow water introduced through the water supply portion to be discharged; and an elastic member having both ends fixed to the upper part and the lower part and pressing the check valve in a direction in which the check valve closes the water supply portion, wherein the check valve includes a first part opening and closing the water supply portion of the upper part and a second part opening and closing the water outlet of the lower part.

Dual poppet pressure relief valve with vacuum adaptor capability

A pressure relief valve is disclosed with a first stage valve that is in series with a second stage valve, with an enclosed cavity between the first stage valve and the second stage valve. The first stage valve relieves pressure from an enclosure into the enclosed cavity between the stages, when the pressure is above a cracking pressure of the first stage valve. The second stage relieves pressure from the enclosed cavity when the pressure is above the cracking pressure of the second stage valve.

Automatic draining back flow prevention device

A double check valve is provided that includes an in-line inlet check valve and an outlet check valve that cooperate to prevent back flow of fluid through the valve. The check valve also includes at least one vent that allows for fluid trapped within the check valve to drain, thereby preventing freezing of the check valve and hydrant to which it is interconnected. The check valve provided omits many superfluous components and thus is smaller and easier to install than check valves of the prior art.

Pressure relief valve with bi-directional seat

A pressure relief valve includes a valve body including a monitored pressure inlet leading to a monitored pressure region, a piston having a shear seal bore and a surface facing the monitored pressure region, a vent passage and a the shear seal assembly comprising a seal plate having a sealing surface thereon, and the shear seal assembly includes a sealing surface facing the seal plate and having a first annular area, and a first surface having an annular surface area at least twice as large as the first area of the sealing surface, the first surface facing away from the first area, and a biasing seal in contact with the first surface.

Fluid routing plug

A fluid routing plug for use with a fluid end section. The fluid end section being one of a plurality of fluid end sections making up a fluid end side of a high pressure pump. The fluid routing plug is installed within a horizontal bore formed in a fluid end section and is configured to route fluid throughout the fluid end section.

Backflow prevention assembly with telescoping bias assembly and reversible valve member

A valve assembly with a spring retention assembly including an elongated cylinder portion having an open threaded end and a closed end and an elongated piston portion having a free end and a threaded tab end configured to thread through the open threaded end and, thereby, be slideably captured in the cylinder portion. A spring couples to the body portion and the piston portion to provide a force to urge the body portion and the piston away from one another, wherein the closed end and the free end are similarly shaped so that the spring retention assembly can be reversibly mounted to a valve member that can also be reversibly mounted.

Annular safety valve

An annular safety valve that is positionable in a wellbore may include a housing having an opening extending through the housing to allow to allow pressure to transmit between a first annular area of the wellbore below the annular safety valve and a second annular area of the wellbore above the annular safety valve. The housing can define the opening by a seat face. A poppet may extend through the opening. A groove may at least partially surrounding the seat face for maintaining a shape of the seat face in response to an increase in pressure in the first area of the wellbore. The shape of the seat face may correspond to a surface of the poppet for preventing pressure from transmitting between the first annular area of the wellbore and the second annular area of the wellbore when the annular safety valve is in a closed position.
