Noise reducing plunger

A valve can include a solenoid coil, a plunger having a core configured to respond to a magnetic field generated by the solenoid coil, and a valve disc. The valve disc can be positioned at a head of the core and configured to cushion impact when the valve is closed. A projection can be positioned and configured to cushion impact when the valve is opened. The valve can be used in an air bed system in fluid connection between an air pump and an inflatable air chamber of a mattress.

A fluid metering valve includes a housing, an electromagnetic actuator that includes an armature that is separated from an inner wall of the housing by an annular gap, a throttle element connected to the armature or the housing and arranged in the annular gap to dampen a movement of the armature that is opposite to an opening direction, a valve seat surface, a valve closing body that cooperates with the valve seat surface to form a sealing seat, and a valve needle that (a) is actuatable by the actuator, (b) is arranged for actuating the valve closing body (c) extends through a borehole in the armature so that the armature is movably guidable on the valve needle, and (d) includes a stop arranged such that, during an actuation, the armature strikes against the stop in the opening direction to thereby open the sealing seat.

Provided is a fluid control solenoid valve including: a valve body; a valve seat mounted on a lower portion thereof; a coil mounted on an outer circumferential surface thereof and to which power is applied; a core mounted on an inner surface thereof; a lower plunger movably disposed on the inner surface thereof and formed with an orifice and integrally formed with a tight contact portion to be in tight contact with the valve seat on a bottom surface thereof; and an actuating unit arranged to be linearly moved on an upper side of the lower plunger, actuated by interlocking the lower plunger and formed with an actuating rod which is linearly moved and which is in close contact with the orifice. A fluid flow delay unit is provided on an outer surface of the lower plunger to generate pressure difference between upper and lower portions of the lower plunger.

Solenoid valve

A solenoid valve provided with a valve element that abuts against and separates from a valve seat to seal fuel; a movable iron core capable of being separated from the valve element; and a fixed iron core arranged opposed to the movable iron core. The solenoid valve also includes: a first spring member that energizes the valve element toward a side of the valve seat; a second spring member that energizes the movable iron core toward the fixed iron core; and a stopper part disposed on the side of the valve seat with respect to the movable iron core, and arranged with the movable iron core via a gap in a displacement direction in a valve closed state. The gap is set so the movable iron core collides with the stopper part when being displaced in the valve closing direction after the valve element is opened.

A direct drive electromagnetic actuator includes a housing and a movable body extended by an actuating head. A resilient member exerts a force on the movable body toward an inoperative position. A coil interacts with the movable body so as to generate a second force on the movable body toward an operative position. The actuator further includes a shock-absorbing block movable with respect to the housing over at least a portion of the travel of the movable body and joined to the resilient member. The shock-absorbing block is compressed when the movable body is in the operative position. The actuator also includes a rigid abutment movable over at least a portion of the travel of the movable body between the inoperative position and the operative position, the rigid abutment coming into contact with a wall secured to the housing when the movable body is in the operative position.

An electromagnetic valve, in particular for a motor vehicle air spring system, has a valve closing body which, in its basic position, shuts off a valve outlet and, for this purpose, is pressed against a valve seat by a restoring spring. To assist the opening process, a valve spring is also provided. The valve spring is supported at one side on a valve seat body and at the other side on a spring pot, which is arranged on the valve closing body. Preferably, a tubular section of the spring pot bears, non-displaceably in a lateral direction, directly against the valve closing body. An elastic sealing element may either be arranged on the end side of the valve closing body, or held laterally by a section, which forms an enclosure, of the spring pot.

An electrically or electromagnetically operated valve has a movable structural group with a magnetic armature, which is movable along an axis between a first and a second position to open or close the valve. The valve has a valve sleeve in which the magnetic armature is movable between the first and the second position, the magnetic armature defining on its axial sides two volumes in the valve sleeve. There is provided a throttling element elastic in the radial direction, which is arranged between the first volume and the second volume such that upon axial movement of the movable structural group it throttles an air stream between the first volume and the second volume in order to decelerate a movement of the movable structural group.
