During operation of the peristaltic pump, the fluid switch assembly is in a second operation state, so that the water sequentially flows through the peristaltic pump, the fluid switch assembly, and the water circulation pipeline and finally returns to the interior volume portion.

The valve spool has a first permanent magnet attached to one end and a second permanent magnet attached to the other end, so that the first permanent magnet faces a first solenoid, and the second permanent magnet faces a second solenoid. The first solenoid is energized to have a first polarity, and the second solenoid is energized to have an opposite polarity to concurrently push and pull the valve spool within the valve body between a first position and a second position, the first position establishing a first flow path and the second position establishing a second flow path through the valve body and valve spool so as to enable flow of hydraulic fluid.

Two-way pressure relief valves featuring dual poppets and magnets that allow very rapid flow. Such flow is accomplished by a valve housing enclosing a hollow interior portion containing a stationary member including a magnet and a first pressure-movable poppet disposed in sealing arrangement with the housing and including a second magnet. To provide flow in the other direction, a second moveable poppet disposed coaxially and in sealing arrangement with the first poppet and is coupled to a spring that extends from a first end of the second poppet to a support structure coupled to the second magnet.

Sprung gate valves movable by an actuator

Valves having a sprung gate of various constructions are disclosed. In one embodiment, the sprung gate includes a first endless elastic band having an inner perimeter defining an open space sandwiched between a first gate member and a second gate member that each define an opening therethrough in an open position portion thereof. The first endless elastic band is sandwiched therebetween with its open space oriented for alignment with the opening in both of the first and second gate members, which are aligned with one another to form a passage through the sprung gate. In one aspect, the first endless elastic band in positioned inward a distance from the outer sides of the first and second gate members and spaces the first gate member a distance apart from the second gate member thereby defining a channel having a bottom defined by the first endless elastic band.

A pressure relief valve includes a housing having a fluid inlet and at least one fluid outlet. A first structure mounted in the housing and fixed in relation thereto is in magnetic attraction with a second structure coupled to a piston disposed in a portion of the housing. The piston defines a chamber disposed adjacent to the fluid outlet(s) throughout the piston's stroke. The piston includes a sealing element providing a sealing force to prevent flow through the valve. The sealing force is independent of the magnetic attraction force between the first and second structures.

MAGNETICALLY CONTROLLED FLUID DRAIN VALVE FOR AIRCRAFT EXTERIOR LIGHT UNIT

An aircraft exterior light unit may comprise a magnetically controlled fluid drain valve configured to expel liquid water from the light unit. The valve may include a permanent magnet configured to induce a magnetic flux circuit that generates a magnetic force configured to close the valve. The valve may be configured to open when the pressure inside the light unit exceeds the magnetic force. As the valve opens and expels the water, the pressure within the light unit may decrease, equalizing with that of the external environment. As the magnetic force generated by the magnet increases as the valve is open and the water expelled, the magnet may be configured to close the valve once more. As such, the magnet may be configured to control a self-acting fluid drain valve in an aircraft exterior light.

A plumbing fixture fluid diversion assembly minimizes dripping from an outlet conduit of a spout body by restricting passage of accumulated fluid through the outlet conduit. The assembly comprises a hollow spout body having an inlet conduit that carries fluid to a diversion chamber. The diversion chamber is in communication with the inlet conduit and the outlet conduit. A routing notch helps control the flow of the fluid towards a chamber opening that is disposed between the diversion chamber and the outlet conduit. The chamber opening enables passage of fluid to the outlet conduit. A flap selectively covers and uncovers the chamber opening to control dripping from the outlet conduit. The assembly generates an initial force to at least partially urge the flap towards the chamber opening for covering by pulling a cable, displacing magnet proximal to the flap, or creating a vacuum to displace the flap.
