Flush Valve
20200385971 · 2020-12-10 ·

A flush valve includes a valve housing defining a fluid passageway between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The fluid passageway includes a diaphragm valve seat disposed between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. The flush valve additionally includes a diaphragm assembly including a diaphragm and a disc. The diaphragm includes a primary opening and a bypass opening. The primary opening receives the disc therein and the bypass opening allowing water under pressure supplied to the fluid inlet to pass from a fluid inlet side of the diaphragm into a chamber in the fluid passageway. The flush valve additionally includes a relief valve configured to selectively control fluid flow from the chamber to the fluid outlet. The relief valve comprises a stationary valve element and a rotatable valve element each having at least one opening and being rotationally positionable relative to one another to regulate fluid flow.

An adapter element for a solenoid valve assembly in an irrigation system includes an integral water turbine generator including an impeller positioned in an outlet flow path of a solenoid assembly thereof such that the impeller rotates when water flows to generate electricity.

Valve actuator with external coils

A gas valve having a gas valve body having a valve and a valve seat both housed by the gas valve body. The valve may further include an armature housed by the gas valve body, a pole situated outside of the gas valve body so as to not be exposed to gas in the gas valve body. The pole may be positioned to be in magnetic communication with at least part of the armature through the gas valve body. The valve may further include a coil situated outside the gas valve body. The coil may be wound about the pole such that activation of the coil produces a magnetic flux that is carried to an end of the pole, through the gas valve body, and to the armature, resulting in movement of the armature, and movement of the valve between the open position and the closed position.

FLUID FLOW MEASURING AND CONTROL DEVICES AND METHOD
20200271500 · 2020-08-27 ·

There is described a fluid flow measuring and control device for installation within plumbing. The device comprises a main flow channelling system having an inlet and an outlet for connection to the plumbing, and a bypass channelling system in parallel from the main flow channelling system. A flowmeter is provided in the bypass channelling system for measuring the fluid flow in the bypass channelling system and thereby estimating the fluid flow at the inlet or at the outlet of the main flow channelling system. The flowmeter may comprise a wheel and a pair of movement sensors. A valve such as a solenoid valve can be provided as an on/off control for the plumbing. Using a microcontroller, the device can identify which appliance is used and determine consumption, or detect abnormal use or leaks and close the valve and/or notify a user mobile device.

A flush valve has a relief valve that has a stationary valve element and a rotatable valve element each having at least one opening, and being rotationally positionable relative to one another to regulate fluid flow. A disc contacts a diaphragm valve seat to form a seal between the disc and the diaphragm valve seat when the diaphragm assembly is in the closed position and with the relief valve closed. When the flush valve is activated, the relief valve is opened to permit a flow of water from the chamber into the fluid outlet. The opening of the relief valve relieves fluid pressure in the chamber and causes diaphragm assembly to move from the closed position to the opened position. The disc is unseated from the valve seat which permits water to pass from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet when the diaphragm assembly is in the open position.

A flush valve has a valve body, a relief assembly, and a solenoid valve assembly. The valve body has a flushing tube. The solenoid valve assembly has a seal, an assembling mount, a solenoid valve, and a power supply. The seal is disposed between a diaphragm of the relief assembly and an intake end of the flushing tube. The assembling mount has a disk. A first reserving space is formed between the disk and the relief assembly. The solenoid valve is assembled to the assembling mount. A second reserving space is formed between the solenoid valve and the assembling mount and communicates with the first reserving space. The solenoid valve has a blocking unit to prevent the first reserving space and the second reserving space from communicating with each other. The power supply is electrically connected to the solenoid valve.

SOLENOID ADAPTER

An adapter is provided for a solenoid of a valve. The adapter provides a radial seal and enables manually bleeding by rotating the solenoid. The adapter includes two primary components with a one-way locking engagement between them that can be manually reversed for service of the adapter and the solenoid.

Solenoid controlled respiratory gas demand valve

A prior art demand valve has been modified to make it more responsive to persons with impaired oxygen delivery by replacing its sensing diaphragm and associated mechanically actuated valve actuator with a solenoid activated proportional control valve coupled to an analog pressure transducer via a pulse width modulated current driver circuit. The pressure transducer responds to detected pressure changes in a patient's breathing tube.
