WATER BAG CHECK VALVE
20230134413 · 2023-05-04 ·

A checkbag valve system installed at the bottom of the drainage systems used in sea water, oil tanks, petroleum derivatives and the like to discharge water in water bags which is used for weigh generation to test the lifting capacities of the cranes. A flow preventon plug located at the discharge point of the reservoir is pulled off the hole by a rope or electric actuator to discharge the liquid out or forward the liquid freely to another pipe. The open and close command is provided by a single channel and the opening and closing of the reservoir or low pressure containers is provided with two different commands combined in a way in order to provided a single command from a single point at different times. The risk of rupture of the drive rope mechanism is minimized and there is the reduction in the number of relevant staff for the operation and the maintenance of the valve system. FIG. 4.

SIDE LOAD FREE EGR VALVE ACTUATION

The invention relates to a device for converting a rotational motion of a valve element into a translational motion of same with: a valve element bearing-supported such that it is translationally movable along a translation axis, a cam element with a cam curvature, wherein the cam element is rotatable about an axis of rotation, wherein connected with the valve element is a stem by means of which the valve element can be moved translationally along the translation axis and which comprises an engagement element in engagement with the cam curvature, wherein the engagement element is braced from two sides of the cam element by the stem, and wherein, by rotation of the cam element about the axis of rotation, the engagement element is guided along the cam curvature such that the stem executes a translational motion whereby the valve element executes a translational motion.

Manual reset hydraulic valve latch for a hydraulically controlled valve
09841118 · 2017-12-12 ·

A Manual Reset hydraulic valve latch, capable of maintaining a hydraulically controlled valve in an open state after the valve has been opened by an activating device, regardless of the state of the activating device, until the latch is reset. The invention provides simplicity of operation, high resistance to false tripping and accidental shutoff. The invention further provides a fast fill of the hydraulic valve control chamber by reducing flow restriction into the valve control mechanism during reset of the latch.

DRIVING MECHANISM FOR A CONTROL VALVE AND A CONTROL VALVE
20170343130 · 2017-11-30 · ·

The driving mechanism has a tubular housing coupled to a control valve and housing an activating cylinder and an activated cylinder, cooperating with each other and respectively coupled to a rod of a wheel and a sealing device. The driving mechanism presents: an inoperative condition, in which the activated cylinder is maintained in a closing position of the control valve; a first operative condition, obtained by the rotation of the activating cylinder in a first sense and in which the activated cylinder is maintained in a first opening position, until the activating cylinder is rotated in an opposite sense, returning the activated cylinder to its closing position; and a second operative condition, obtained by rotation of the activating cylinder in a second sense and in which the activated cylinder reaches a second opening position, from which it is automatically displaced back to its closing position, in a timed manner.

The valve core is mounted on the valve core seat. The valve core seat has a cold water hole, a hot water hole, a mixed water hole, and a water outlet. The sleeve is mounted beneath the valve core seat, and has a cold water inlet and a hot water inlet. The sleeve further has a diversion passage communicating with the cold water inlet. The sensor is used to open or close the diversion passage. The sensor includes a sensing module, a solenoid valve, and a buffer rod.

Fluid pulse drilling tool
09828802 · 2017-11-28 · ·

A fluid pulse apparatus for down hole drilling having a turbine assembly actuated by a flow of drilling fluid. The apparatus has a narrowed fluid flow section that cooperates with a piston that moves between an open and a fluid flow restricting position. The apparatus has a turbine assembly that rotates in response to a flow of drilling fluid. The turbine apparatus has upper and lower cam surfaces that cooperate with fixed cam followers such that rotation of the turbine assembly and cam action between the cam surfaces and the fixed followers causes the turbine assembly to reciprocate axially. The piston is fixed to either of the upper or the lower cam surfaces such that as the turbine assembly reciprocates axially, the piston moves between the open and the flow restricting positions to create a pulsed fluid flow.

Storage Tank Valve

A valve for use in a tank vessel that includes a valve housing configured to fit into a threaded vent opening of the tank vessel and a sleeve weldment coupled to the valve housing. The sleeve weldment includes a first end configured to protrude into an interior volume of the tank vessel, and the first end is thermally balanced with the interior volume of the tank vessel. The valve also includes a valve plunger configured to be installed within the sleeve weldment. The valve plunger includes a valve bottom configured to seal an opening between the valve bottom and an interior opening of the sleeve weldment. The valve also may include a cam configured to force the valve plunger into the interior of the tank vessel to break the seal between the valve bottom and the interior opening of the sleeve weldment.
