SAFETY BUCKLE FOR FASTENING STRIP
A buckle for securing a fastening strip as a loop includes a base portion, a supporting portion above the base portion, a passageway formed between the base portion and the supporting portion, a first pressing portion connected to the base portion; and a second pressing portion connected to the base portion. An end of the fastening strip is connected to the base portion, and an opposite end of the fastening strip passes through the passageway and winds around a good to be fastened. Next, the fastening strip is bent to pass through the buckle for a couple of times to be supported by the supporting portion and pressed by the first and the second pressing portions.
CABLE TIE ARRANGEMENT
A cable tie arrangement for bundling one or more elongate members, and which includes a continuous strap having a planar surface free of any racks and a separate locking head defining an opening and having a metal locking element comprising a pair of opposed teeth extending into the opening and arranged to engage the strap in the opening. In use, the strap comprises a looped section arranged to bundle one or more elongate members on a first side of the locking head, and the looped section has an end section and a supply section extending through the locking head to a second side of the locking head in a first direction. Further, the opposed teeth are arranged to engage the planar surface of the end section and the supply section to prevent movement of the end section and the supply section in a second direction opposed to the first direction and to allow movement of the supply section in the first direction, and wherein the opposed teeth extend towards one another in the opening to press the end section and the supply section together in the opening.
Strap and Buckle System
An apparatus designed to bundle a plurality of objects. The apparatus includes a buckle with a body and a cavity formed therein. The body has a first end with an opening and a second end with a strap passageway therethrough. The buckle also includes a metal strip retained in the cavity of the body. The metal strip has a first end with a first barb and a second end with a second barb. The first barb of the metal strip is positioned at the first end of the body and the second barb of the metal strip is positioned at the second end of the body. A strap is secured to the buckle body by the barbs extending from the metal strip. The strap secures the plurality of objects to the buckle.
PREFORMED AND REUSABLE BUNDLING STRAP
A cable tie structure for bundling cables may include a preformed strap body having a convex inner surface, the preformed strap body comprising a receiver end and a toothed end, the toothed end having a plurality of teeth extending from at least a portion of the inner surface and designed to engage with the receiver end. The locking head may include an L-shaped overhand retainer arm formed of a side wall extending substantially perpendicularly from the strap body; an upper wall extending substantially perpendicularly from the side wall at an end of the side wall distal from the strap body such that the upper wall is substantially parallel to the strap body; and an open side opposite the side wall. A clip arm may extend at an angle from the strap body toward the upper wall. The clip arm may include clip arm teeth and a beveled outer edge.
Cable bundling system
A cable bundling system is disclosed. The cable bundling system includes a base having an opening extending through the base; a barb supported by the base and extending at least partially across the opening; and a strap adapted to be advanced through the opening in a first direction. When the strap is displaced in a second direction opposite the first direction, the barb pierces a medial portion of the strap such that the barb contacts the base. The strap can include a longitudinal groove extending a length of the strap, and the barb has a piercing portion opposite a supported portion. The piercing portion can pierce the medial portion of the strap.
Cable tie
There is provided a cable tie (100) comprising: a cord (101) having a first end (102) and a second end (103), which cord comprises cellulosic fibers; and a locking head (104) fixedly attached to the first end (102), said locking head (104) being adapted to receive the second end (103) and retain the cable tie (100) in a closed loop configuration, wherein said locking head (104) defines (a) wall(s) (105) that encircles a passage (106) having an inlet (107) and an outlet (108) and comprises a metal blade (109) that extends into the passage (106) for engaging the cord (101) and which is arranged to allow displacement of the cord (101) in a first direction towards the outlet (108) while preventing displacement of the cord (101) in a second direction towards the inlet (107).
