FUEL DELIVERY DEVICE
Fluid delivery systems and methods for using fluid delivery systems are rotatable around two axes. In one embodiment, the fluid delivery system has a reduced swing radius and/or a reduced clearance area needed to rotate the fluid delivery device about one of the axes. The reduced swing radius and/or reduced clearance area allow for a more compact footprint of the fluid delivery system and a larger ratio of flow rate of fluid per unit of required clearance area.
CARBURIZING GRADE MICRO-ALLOY HIGH PRESSURE SWIVEL JOINTS
The present disclosure relates, according to some embodiments, to a high pressure swivel joint comprising: (a) a first tube comprising: a first tube central longitudinal axis; a first tube interior circumferential surface; a first tube circumferential surface; a first tube first end comprising a male connector comprising a plurality of bearing races; and a first tube second end; (b) a second tube having: a second tube central longitudinal axis; a second tube interior circumferential surface; a second tube circumferential surface; and a second tube first end comprising a female connector comprising a plurality of complimentary bearing races; and (c) a plurality of balls contained between the plurality of bearing races and the plurality of complimentary bearing races, wherein the first end of the first tube and the proximal end of the second tube are configured to connect to form an articulating joint, and wherein the first tube and the second tube comprise a carburizing grade micro-alloy steel, wherein the carburizing grade micro-alloy steel comprises a yield strength of greater than about 110,000 psi, a tensile strength of greater than about 130,000 psi, an elongation of greater than about 14%, a reduction area of greater than about 45%, and a longitudinal Charpy v-notch of greater than about 31 ft/lbs longitudinal at about 40 C., and a nickel concentration of less than about 1 wt. %, by weight of the carburizing grade micro-alloy steel, and a carbon content of less than about 0.15 wt. %, by weight of the carburizing grade micro-alloy steel.
Lockable swivel fitting assembly
A swivel fitting assembly includes a female body providing a first connection end portion, and a male fitting body providing a second connection end portion. The male body and the female body are operatively coupled together to form a fluid passage between the first and second connection end portions, and are configured to permit relative rotation of the bodies relative to each other. A swivel lock mechanism is provided to rotationally lock or release the male body relative to the female body in response to a fluid pressure level in the fitting. The swivel lock includes a collar that transitions to a lock state and holds the male body when fluid pressure is at or above a predefined level. The collar transitions to a release state to enable relative rotation of the bodies when the pressure is below the predefined level.
Liquid system and motor vehicle comprising such a liquid system
A liquid system for a motor vehicle has at least one supply line which can be supplied with a liquid, and at least one functional unit which can be arranged on a movable component of the motor vehicle and is connected in a communicating manner to the supply line. The supply line has at least one immovable line portion which can be arranged on an immovable component of the motor vehicle and at least one movable line portion which can be arranged on the movable component and is connected to the functional unit. In order to ensure a leakage-proof supply of the functional unit with the liquid, the supply line has at least one rotary coupling via which the immovable line portion is connected in a communicating manner to the movable line portion.
Fluid delivery device
Fluid delivery systems and methods for using fluid delivery systems are rotatable around two axes. In one embodiment, the fluid delivery system has a reduced swing radius and/or a reduced clearance area needed to rotate the fluid delivery device about one of the axes. The reduced swing radius and/or reduced clearance area allow for a more compact footprint of the fluid delivery system and a larger ratio of flow rate of fluid per unit of required clearance area.
Flexible coupling with rotational capability
A coupling includes a body with two ends and a bore. Each end section includes a rotatable connection and a convolution, and there is a bent elbow section between the end sections.
SWIVEL JOINT FOR FLARE SYSTEM OF OFFSHORE PLANT
Provided is a swivel joint for flare system of offshore plant which can be semi-permanently operated even with grease injected once.
The swivel joint for flare system of offshore plant proposed comprises a cylindrical body; and first and second connecting members coupled to opposite sides of the cylindrical body, respectively.
The swivel joint has an advantage that it can be actually semi-permanently used with the grease initially injected and then the sealing made.
Swivel joint with uniform ball bearing requirements
A swivel joint has uniform ball bearing requirements for all bearing races. The swivel joint has a male connector and a female connector that coaxially interconnects and swivel relative to each other while still maintaining a high pressure seal. Each connector has three bearing races to form three sets of bearing races, each of which supports the same number of ball bearings. The circumference of the main set of races are enlarged by less than the diameter of one ball, so it is impossible to add another ball to the coupled male and female connectors of the swivel joint.
Rotatable Pipe Adapter
A pipe adapter includes a first tubular element having a first portion, a second portion axially adjacent the first portion, and a securing portion adjacent an end of the second portion opposite the first portion, the second portion defining a socket; a second tubular element having a first portion and a second portion axially adjacent the first portion, the first portion defining a distal end sized for insertion into the socket and having a radially extending stop; an annular sealing member. The securing portion is formed integrally with the second portion of the first tubular element and has a flange portion contacting the stop to secure the second tubular element axially relative to the first tubular element while also allowing the second tubular element to rotate relative to the first tubular element.
ROTATING SNAP CONNECTION ASSEMBLY
A connector providing a rotating snap connection for connecting tubes, hoses and/or other conduits where the rotatable portion of the connector snap fits with the remaining portion of the connector is described. A first connector can include a body defining a first internal passage, a connecting end defining a second internal passage, and a connecting mechanism rotatably connecting the connecting end to the body such that the second internal passage of the connecting end is fluidly connected with the first internal passage. A second connector can include a first body, a second body rotatably connected to the first body via a connecting structure, and a connecting structure.
