The fitting assembly may include a seal mounted in fitting and sealable against the core tube upon crimping. The fitting assembly may include a support ring between skived and unskived hose regions. A collapse-resistant hose includes a carcass with an optional unbonded sacrificial layer is also provided.
END CONNECTOR FOR HIGH PRESSURE REINFORCED RUBBER HOSE
A swage fitted end connector for high pressure large diameter reinforced flexible rubber hose utilizing sine-wave locking of the reinforcement and particularly suited to the petrochemical and drilling industries. Two embodiments of the connector for use with wire reinforced thin internal tube hose are disclosed: one with a diameter of 3-inches and for burst pressures up to 20, 000 psi and the other for a diameter of 5-inches and for burst pressures up to 18,000 psi. All of the connectors will withstand the rated burst pressure of the hose without pumping off or leaking thus any hose that utilizes the device will fail before the connector pops off the hose. The connectors are designed to meet or exceed the new API temperature ranges and new API flexible specification levels which became effective in October 2006.
FITTING ASSEMBLY FOR COLLAPSE-RESISTANT HOSE
A hose fitting assembly for a collapse-resistant hose, includes a sleeve having a forward and rearward sleeve end portion, the rearward sleeve end portion having an opening adapted to receive a hose end portion; a fitting having an optionally flared rearward fitting end portion operatively coupled to the forward sleeve end portion, the rearward fitting end portion having an internal surface forming an internal cavity configured to receive the hose end portion; and an optionally threaded nipple operatively couplable to the fitting and extending rearwardly through the internal cavity of the fitting, the nipple being configured to fit within an internal hose passage. The fitting assembly may include a seal mounted in fitting and sealable against the core tube upon crimping. The fitting assembly may include a support ring between skived and unskived hose regions. A collapse-resistant hose includes a carcass with an optional unbonded sacrificial layer is also provided.
hose crimp fitting or hydraulic adaptors that utilize a reverse threaded lock nut that engages to a JIC nut or similar swivel nut to prevent the nut from loosening
A tubular hose stem with a flange, a first left hand threaded section on the outer surface of the stem generally adjacent the flange, a first JIC/swivel nut over the flange having an inner diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the flange, a second lock nut threadably engaged to the hose stem on a second left threaded section adjacent the JIC nut, a conical washer fixedly secured around the hose stem between the first and second threaded sections, an O-ring positioned adjacent the washer opposite the left side of the washer; and a ferrule having a first end fixedly threaded to the hose stem and having a second end larger in diameter than the stem. The lock nut may have knurled surfaces and the inner diameter of the ferrule and outer diameter of the stem may have circumferential raised ribs to engage hosing.
HOSE ASSEMBLY
This disclosure relates to a hose assembly (1) including a fluid passage (11), a male coupler (12) and a blocker (13). The fluid passage (11) has an outlet (1112a). The male coupler (12) is rotatably sleeved on the fluid passage (11) at the outlet (1112a). The blocker (13) is protruded from the fluid passage (11) at the outlet (1112a) to restrict detachment of the male coupler (12) from the outlet (1112a) of the fluid passage (11).
System for connecting rigid pipes and for connecting flexible pipes, and fittings for such a system
The invention relates to a system for connecting rigid pipes and for connecting flexible pipes. The pipes have corresponding outer diameters, with a press jaw having a press contour, with at least one first fitting for press-fitting to a rigid pipe, the at least one first fitting having a first press sleeve with a first outer contour, with at least one second fitting for press-fitting to a flexible pipe, the at least one second fitting having a second press sleeve with a second outer contour, the at least one second fitting having a second press sleeve with a second outer contour has a second press sleeve with a second outer contour, the outer contour of the first press sleeve and the outer contour of the second press sleeve in each case being adapted at least in sections to the press contour of the press jaw of the press jaw and can be pressed by the press jaw and wherein the outer contours of the first press sleeve and of the second press sleeve correspond at least in sections. This system solves the technical problem of simplifying the on-site effort for installing piping systems. In particular, the task is to specify suitable combinations of fittings for rigid and flexible pipes.
Connect structure for semiconductor processing equipment
A connect structure for semiconductor processing equipment includes a housing configured to mate a deformable pipe with a non-deformable pipe. The housing includes a first annular sidewall to receive the deformable pipe and a second annular sidewall defining a first thread structure. An annular bead is connected to the first annular sidewall to flexibly deform the deformable pipe toward the non-deformable pipe structure when the first thread structure rotatably engages a second thread structure of the non-deformable pipe.
