System and method for storing and selectively dispensing liquids
The inventive system and method advantageously enable superior preserved storage and selective dispensation of liquids by storing wine (or other liquids) in a pressurized environment to ensure that the stored liquid does not come into contact with air, and then by selectively dispensing a portion of the stored liquid, in accordance with a desired dispensing regime, by utilizing a controlled source of pressure force to apply a sufficient pressure to the pressurized environment to expel the desired volume of the liquid in a pressurized stream directed to a dispensing/pouring interface through a conduit or equivalent delivery system. In at least several novel embodiments thereof, the system and method of the present invention are configured for use with wine-in-bag (WinB) products.
PIPE JOINT DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A pipe joint device configured to interconnect two pipes to be inserted therein through openings of both opened ends thereof including a joint main body and a joint assembly disposed in the joint main body is provided. The joint main body includes a small-diameter part formed at a central part and large-diameter parts formed at both sides of the small-diameter part. Each of the large-diameter parts has a first horizontal part, a diameter-reduced part of which a diameter gradually decreases from the first horizontal part toward the opening, and a second horizontal part extending horizontally from the diameter-reduced part toward the opening. A portion of each of the second horizontal parts is configured as a curled part inclined toward an outer-diameter direction and the opening of the pipe joint device and then again inclined toward an inner-diameter direction and the opening and having a mountain-shaped section as a whole.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COUPLING
An apparatus (10) for coupling with a pipe (12), the apparatus (10) including a body assembly (13) having a body (14) adapted fit with the pipe (12), and at least two gripping parts (16) moveably coupled to the body (14), the at least two gripping parts (16) being adapted to be moveable between an insertion condition, in which the gripping parts (16) are resiliently depressible to allow movement of the pipe (12) in a first insertion direction, and a gripping condition in which the gripping parts (16) each engage with opposing side walls (18) of the pipe (12) to restrict movement of the pipe (12) in a second opposing direction thereby coupling the apparatus (10) and the pipe (12). Other variations of the apparatus (10) and associated methods of use are also disclosed.
Pneumatic seed distribution hose coupling assembly
In an embodiment, a hose coupling assembly includes a collet including a head and an axial protrusion extending from the head in a first axial direction. The axial protrusion is configured to engage a hose while the axial protrusion is in a locked position, and to disengage the hose while the axial protrusion is in an unlocked position. The hose coupling assembly also includes a housing disposed about the axial protrusion and configured to receive the hose. An inner surface of the housing is shaped to enable movement of the axial protrusion toward the unlocked position in response to movement of the axial protrusion in the first axial direction, and to drive the axial protrusion toward the locked position in response to movement of the axial protrusion in a second axial direction, opposite the first axial direction.
PIPE FITTINGS
Improvements to stab-type pipe fittings capable of being inserted onto plastic pipes and provide a leak proof connection are provided. The pipe fittings have an outer casing with pipe ports, a hollow inner casing positioned within the outer casing, a pipe gripper and stiffener positioned within the inner casing. The pipe ports have an elongated lip that straightens a pipe inserted into the fitting. The stiffener provides a multi-compression seal to facilitate the leak proof connection.
PIPE RETAINER
A joint structure for connecting lengths of pipe uses a plurality of teeth to engage the surface of at least one end of the adjacent lengths of pipe to connect the ends. A deformable member applies forces to the plurality of teeth to engage the surfaces. In an aspect, the plurality of teeth are releasable. In another aspect, the plurality of teeth are permanently engaged into the surfaces.
CONNECTION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CHAMFERED TUBE
A coupling device for a tube (100) having an end portion provided with an outer chamfer (101), the device comprising a tubular body (1) provided internally with an annular sealing element (62) and with an attachment member (4, 40) for retaining the end portion of the tube in leaktight manner in the body. The device includes at least one retractable abutment (6) arranged so as to oppose insertion into the body of a tube end portion that is not chamfered (200) and so that the chamfer (101) of the tube end portion that is chamfered (100) forms a cam for causing the abutment (6) to retract while it is being inserted into the body (1).
A corresponding coupling method.
GRIP RING
A guide ring includes a guide ring body defining a guide outer surface, a guide inner surface opposite the guide outer surface, a first lateral end, a second lateral end opposite the first lateral end, a first circumferential end, and a second circumferential end opposite the first circumferential end, the guide inner surface defining a guide ring opening; a gap defined between the first circumferential end and the second circumferential end; and an arcuate guide slot extending laterally into the guide ring body and disposed radially between the guide outer surface and the guide inner surface and configured to receive a grip ring; wherein the guide ring body is configured to be compressed radially inward to reduce a width of the gap between the first circumferential end and the second circumferential end.
Jet regulator with a tube receptacle
In the case of a sanitary fixture with a jet and/or flow regulator unit, it is proposed forming, on the inlet opening on the inflow side, a tube receptacle to which a connecting tube can be connected with a push fit. A fastening means with which the connecting tube, which is connected with a push fit, can be fastened in, and can be released from, the tube receptacle is arranged on a basic body forming the tube receptacle.
Connector
A connector comprising a body (1) having a throughway (5) which is open at one end (4). A shoulder (8) in the throughway faces the open end and supports an O-ring (9). A collet (3) in the open end of the throughway has a plurality of legs (18) extending away from the open end, each engaging with the body and having an inwardly facing tooth to grip, in use, a tube in the throughway. The body has a plurality of fingers (11) extending to the open end. The connector further comprises a cap (2) fitting over the open end of the body and extending from the open end towards the opposite end. The cap has a plurality of recesses (23) in a wall at the open end into each of which a finger is retained by a snap fit.
