Push fitting for metallic pipe
12338929 · 2025-06-24 · ·

A fitting for use with metallic pipe is disclosed. The fitting includes a body having a connection portion and an opening for receiving an end of the metallic pipe in an insertion direction along a longitudinal axis of the connection portion, a retainer positioned within the connection portion coaxial with the longitudinal axis, the retainer having a plurality of prongs extending radially towards the longitudinal axis, and a gripper positioned within the connection portion coaxial with the longitudinal axis between the retainer and the opening. The gripper is configured as a frusto-conical compression ring tapering towards the opening and has a plurality of gripping projections extending radially towards the longitudinal axis. In operation, the gripper and connection portion cooperate to increase compression on the metallic pipe if the metallic pipe is urged out of the fitting.

Compression teeth ring connection pipe fitting

The present disclosure provides a compression teeth ring connection pipe fitting, which includes a pipe fitting body and a sealing component; the pipe fitting body includes a middle pipe section, a first flared section, and a second flared section; a diameter of the first flared section is greater than a diameter of the middle pipe section, and a first limit platform is formed at a connection position between the two; a diameter of the second flared section is greater than that of the first flared section, and a second limit platform is formed at a connection position between the two; the sealing component includes a sealing ring, a high temperature sealing ring, and a teeth ring that are coaxial and sequentially arranged; inner rings of the sealing ring, the high temperature sealing ring, and the teeth ring form a space for nesting a steel pipe body.

Pipe fittings

Stab-type pipe fittings capable of being inserted onto plastic pipes are provided. The pipe fittings have an outer casing with pipe ports, a hollow inner casing positioned within the outer casing, a pipe gripper and stiffener positioned within the inner casing. The pipe ports have an elongated lip that straightens a pipe inserted into the fitting. The stiffener provides a multi-compression seal to facilitate the leak proof connection.

Coupler with crown head for coupling pipes
12422066 · 2025-09-23 ·

A pipe coupler for coupling pipes of different kinds with a one or more crown partially flexible heads, integrated into the ends of the pipe coupler for accommodating grip rings and seals for coupling pipes of different kinds. The crown heads have planes at different levels that form grooves for accommodating the seals, and a backward trimmed cone-shape inner surface plane and flat plane for locking the grip rings inside corresponding recesses in the crown head. The external surface of the grip rings is also cone-shaped that corresponds the shape of the inner surface of the crown head and in friction contact with this inner surface. The grip ring blocks the seal from slipping out, and has sets of teeth for engaging with and locking to a pipe inside the coupler. Clamp bands wrap around the external surface of the crown heads that yield against it, thereby tightening the grip of the teeth in the pipe as internal pressure increases inside the pipe and causes the grip ring to axially travel towards the proximal end of the crown head. All parts of the coupler are made of synthetic materials and thereby avoid corrosive processes.

A coupling device is provided with an indicator of good connection. In particular, the indicator is a sound emission means, more particularly a whistle, which, when activated reveals a connection fault, and, in particular, a leak, in the connection. The proposed arrangement also uses cleanliness means configured to limit, or even prevent, the entry of dust into the coupling device. In order to effectively combine the sound emission means and cleanliness means, one or more escape paths are provided that bypass the cleanliness means.
