QUICK COUPLING FOR PIPES AND THE LIKE
Intake for quick coupling pipes, to couple to joint in fluidic connection, including body defining central axis and first channel at least partially centered relative the central axis and suitable to partially house joint, annular sealing element movably housed within first channel including plurality of fastening sectors to reciprocally move in radial direction and defining release and clamping positions, extractor partially housed in body, movable along central axis relative to body and allowing sealing element to pass from clamping to release position. The body includes obstruction defining a ring, centered relative to central axis and housed within first channel. Sealing element defines interference portion interfering with obstruction in direction parallel to central axis. Obstruction and interference portion form circular fulcrum around which fastening sectors rotate, moving away from each other, and provide release position as result of opening thrust caused by extractor or joint passing in sealing element.
PUSH TO CONNECT CONDUIT FITTING ASSEMBLIES AND ARRANGEMENTS
A push to connect fitting includes first and second fitting components, a sealing arrangement, a gripping arrangement, and a colleting ring. The first fitting component has an outboard end that is adapted to receive a conduit end. The second fitting component is joined to the first fitting component to define an interior cavity. The sealing arrangement, disposed in the interior cavity, seals one of the first and second fitting components with an outer surface of a conduit end when the conduit end is inserted into the outboard end of the first fitting component. The gripping arrangement is disposed in the interior cavity, and the colleting ring is disposed in the interior cavity and has an inboard end surface engaging an outboard end surface of the gripping arrangement.
SINGLE ACTION PUSH TO CONNECT CONDUIT FITTING
A fitting assembly includes a first fitting component having an outboard end that receives the conduit end portion, a second fitting component joined to the first fitting component to define an interior cavity, a seal device disposed in the interior cavity, and a retainer assembled with at least one of the first and second fitting components. The seal device forms a seal between one of the first and second fitting components and an outer surface of a conduit end portion. The retainer includes a gripping portion received in a circumferential groove of the conduit end portion to grip the conduit end portion, and a colleting portion outboard of the gripping portion and configured to apply a colleting force to the outer surface of the conduit end portion at least when an outboard axial load is applied to the conduit.
Connection device and method for chamfered tube
A coupling device for a tube having an end portion provided with an outer chamfer, and an associated method. The coupling device includes a tubular body provided internally with an annular sealing element and with an attachment member for retaining the end portion of the tube in leak-tight manner in the body. The device further includes at least one retractable abutment arranged so as to oppose insertion into the body of a tube end portion that is not chamfered but allow insertion of a tube that is chamfered, the chamfer of the tube end portion forming a cam for causing the abutment to retract while the tube is being inserted into the body.
Single action push to connect conduit fitting
A push to connect fitting assembly includes first and second fitting components joined to define an interior cavity, a seal device, a retainer, and a biasing member. The seal device is disposed in the interior cavity, and forms a seal between one of the first and second fitting components and an outer surface of a conduit end when the conduit end is inserted into the outboard end of the first fitting component. The retainer is assembled with at least one of the first and second fitting components, and includes a gripping portion that grips the inserted conduit end. The biasing member is axially disposed between the retainer and the seal device, the biasing member applying a first axial load to the retainer to produce a gripping force between the gripping portion and the inserted conduit end.
Quick-connect system for a high pressure connection
A quick-connect system for a high pressure connection includes a port and a collet. The port defines an inlet opening at an outer longitudinal end of the port and includes an inner wall having a first sloped surface at least partially defining a collet cavity. The first sloped surface has a first diameter at a first end nearest the inlet opening and a second diameter, which is greater than the first diameter, at a second end opposite the first end. The collet includes a head portion and a plurality of legs extending distally from the head portion, and each leg of the plurality of legs includes a distal foot portion. In a connected state, the foot portions of the plurality of legs are located in the collet cavity, and the foot portions define an outermost diameter that is greater than the first diameter.
Pipe joint device and method for manufacturing the same
A pipe joint device configured to interconnect two pipes to be inserted therein through openings of both opened ends thereof including a joint main body and a joint assembly disposed in the joint main body is provided. The joint main body includes a small-diameter part formed at a central part and large-diameter parts formed at both sides of the small-diameter part. Each of the large-diameter parts has a first horizontal part, a diameter-reduced part of which a diameter gradually decreases from the first horizontal part toward the opening, and a second horizontal part extending horizontally from the diameter-reduced part toward the opening. A portion of each of the second horizontal parts is configured as a curled part inclined toward an outer-diameter direction and the opening of the pipe joint device and then again inclined toward an inner-diameter direction and the opening and having a mountain-shaped section as a whole.
PUSH TO CONNECT CONDUIT FITTING WITH FERRULE
A push to connect fitting includes a body member adapted to receive a conduit end, a conduit comprising a first end that can be axially inserted into the body member and a conduit gripping device attached to an exterior surface of the conduit, and a retainer that retains the conduit in place when said conduit is fully inserted into the body member. Additional embodiments include providing a seal with the fitting that seals the exterior surface of the conduit, an optional load retaining sleeve for the conduit gripping device, and an optional gimbal. The push to connect aspect may be realized in the form of a single action unthreaded mechanical connection.
Single action push to connect conduit fitting
A single action push to connect fitting for conduit such as tube or pipe. The fitting includes a first fitting component and a second fitting component that are joined or assembled together to form a fitting assembly. The fitting assembly includes a conduit seal device and a conduit retaining device. A conduit may be manually or otherwise inserted into the assembled fitting assembly with a single axial movement and be retained and sealed without need for further action or movement of the fitting components.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STORING AND SELECTIVELY DISPENSING LIQUIDS
The inventive system and method advantageously enable superior preserved storage and selective dispensation of liquids by storing wine (or other liquids) in a pressurized environment to ensure that the stored liquid does not come into contact with air, and then by selectively dispensing a portion of the stored liquid, in accordance with a desired dispensing regime, by utilizing a controlled source of pressure force to apply a sufficient pressure to the pressurized environment to expel the desired volume of the liquid in a pressurized stream directed to a dispensing/pouring interface through a conduit or equivalent delivery system. In at least several novel embodiments thereof, the system and method of the present invention are configured for use with wine-in-bag (WinB) products.
