Tube coupling
A tube coupling comprising having a coupling body with an opened ended throughway to receive a tube. A collet is located in the open end of the through way having a ring and flexible arms extending generally axially of the ring into the throughway. The throughway has a tapered surface convergent towards the open end and the collet arms have heads at their distal ends for engaging the tapered surface and a tube extending through the collet into the throughway to be compressed against the tube by the tapered surface with outward movement of the collet with respect of the throughway to secure the tube in the throughway. A collet lock is formed on the collet, and the collet has a locked rotary position Either the body or the collet has a cam surface and the other has a cam follower.
Apparatus and method for coupling
An apparatus (10) for coupling with a pipe (12), the apparatus (10) including a body assembly (13) having a body (14) adapted to fit with the pipe (12), and at least two gripping parts (16) moveably coupled to the body (14), the at least two gripping parts (16) being adapted to be moveable between an insertion condition, in which the gripping parts (16) are resiliently depressible to allow movement of the pipe (12) in a first insertion direction, and a gripping condition in which the gripping parts (16) each engage with opposing side walls (18) of the pipe (12) to restrict movement of the pipe (12) in a second opposing direction thereby coupling the apparatus (10) and the pipe (12).
EMT COMPRESSION SLIDE OVER COUPLING THREE PIECE ASSEMBLY
A compression coupler assembly including a first compression nut, a second compression nut threadably attached to the first compression nut and an inner sleeve configured to be captured between the first compression nut and the second compression nut when threaded together. The inner sleeve including a tubular-shaped body with a longitudinal slit extending through a wall of the body between opposite ends of the body. An inwardly slopped flange is formed at each end. Each inwardly slopped flange configured to deflect inwardly as the first compression nut and the second compression nut are threaded to a predetermined position. At least one stop protrudes inwardly from an inner wall of the inner sleeve.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STORING AND SELECTIVELY DISPENSING LIQUIDS
The inventive system and method advantageously enable superior preserved storage and selective dispensation of liquids by storing wine (or other liquids) in a pressurized environment to ensure that the stored liquid does not come into contact with air, and then by selectively dispensing a portion of the stored liquid, in accordance with a desired dispensing regime, by utilizing a controlled source of pressure force to apply a sufficient pressure to the pressurized environment to expel the desired volume of the liquid in a pressurized stream directed to a dispensing/pouring interface through a conduit or equivalent delivery system. In at least several novel embodiments thereof, the system and method of the present invention are configured for use with wine-in-bag (WinB) products.
QUICK-FIT CONNECTOR FOR PNEUMATIC EQUIPMENT
A quick-fit connector (1) for the connection of a pipe of a pneumatic system comprises a main body (2) and a pincer body (40). The main body (2) comprises a side wall (30) slidingly insertable in a base portion (58) of the pincer body (40) to prevent the entrance of dust, splinters and similar in the interspace between the pincer body (40) and main body (2).
Bathroom quick coupling
A bathroom quick coupling includes a main body and a positioning clamp. One end of the main body is recessed to form a hollow room and an opening. The hollow room has a thin section and an expanded section. An inner diameter of the expanded section is greater than an inner diameter of the thin section. The expanded section is connected to a side of the thin section distant from the opening. The positioning clamp is in the hollow room and has a base in ring shaped. A plurality of clamping blocks is extending from one side of the base. The clamping blocks surround the base and are arranged spacedly with each other for engaging with and positioned with the external pipe. Each of the clamping blocks is slightly deformable within a gap between adjacent clamping blocks, and the clamping blocks are correspondingly extending to the expanded section.
PUSH TO CONNECT CONDUIT FITTING WITH FERRULE
A push to connect fitting includes a body member adapted to receive a conduit end, a conduit comprising a first end that can be axially inserted into the body member and a conduit gripping device attached to an exterior surface of the conduit, and a retainer that retains the conduit in place when said conduit is fully inserted into the body member. Additional embodiments include providing a seal with the fitting that seals the exterior surface of the conduit, an optional load retaining sleeve for the conduit gripping device, and an optional gimbal. The push to connect aspect may be realized in the form of a single action unthreaded mechanical connection.
Push-in tube connector port
A push-in tube connector port for connecting a tube to a pressurized fluid system is provided. The push-in port includes a central recess for receiving the tube, a sealing arrangement inside of the recess, a locking ring engaged within the recess, and a tube gripping ring having an inwardly directed gripping edge. The locking ring has a U-shaped cross-section. A number of circumferentially distributed slots subdivides an outer ring wall of the locking ring into a number of outer ring wall portions configured to be elastically deflected towards the center by the flange of an insertion end opening, when the annular double ring component is pressed into the recess, and to elastically flex back outwardly once the outer ring wall portions have passed the flange such that an upper edge of each of the outer ring wall portions engages an inner surface of the flange to secure the locking ring in the recess.
Coupling element for a fluidic connection to a terminal
A coupling element for a terminal with cylindrical shell includes a coupling body; a valve; a barrel body movable in translation; clamping tabs, moved by cooperation with a tapered portion of the coupling body, between initial and clamping radial positions; means of transmission. The barrel body or the clamping tabs being apt to drive the valve via the means of transmission, from a forward position of closing of the body to a rear open position, when the clamping tabs move from the initial radial position to the radial clamping position; and a port in the coupling body letting through the means of transmission when the valve is in the rear position.
SINGLE ACTION PUSH TO CONNECT CONDUIT FITTING
A single action push to connect fitting for conduit such as tube or pipe. The fitting includes a first fitting component and a second fitting component that are joined or assembled together to form a fitting assembly. The fitting assembly includes a conduit seal device and a conduit retaining device. A conduit may be manually or otherwise inserted into the assembled fitting assembly with a single axial movement and be retained and sealed without need for further action or movement of the fitting components.
