A fastening means with which the connecting tube, which is connected with a push fit, can be fastened in, and can be released from, the tube receptacle is arranged on a basic body forming the tube receptacle.

Connector

A connector comprising a body (1) having a throughway (5) which is open at one end (4). A shoulder (8) in the throughway faces the open end and supports an O-ring (9). A collet (3) in the open end of the throughway has a plurality of legs (18) extending away from the open end, each engaging with the body and having an inwardly facing tooth to grip, in use, a tube in the throughway. The body has a plurality of fingers (11) extending to the open end. The connector further comprises a cap (2) fitting over the open end of the body and extending from the open end towards the opposite end. The cap has a plurality of recesses (23) in a wall at the open end into each of which a finger is retained by a snap fit.

A pipe joint is disclosed that includes a housing wherein the housing defines a longitudinal axis and an inside surface, and includes a gripping assembly comprising a first gripping member comprising a first protruberance extending radially inward from an inner surface of the first gripping member, a second gripping member comprising a second protruberance extending radially inward from an inner surface of the second gripping member, and an interconnecting body comprising a resilient material. The interconnecting body connects the first gripping member to the second gripping member, and a clearance is defined between the interconnecting body and the inside surface of the housing. The joint can also include an annular seal positioned axially adjacent to the interconnecting body inside the housing.

Externally sealing connector

A connector, particularly for connecting pipes, includes a base body, a sealing element and a member for fixing a pipe inserted into the connector, wherein the base body has an insertion opening on one side for the insertion of a pipe and the sealing element is arranged in an essentially cylindrically symmetrical recess set embedded in the base body and wherein the essentially cylindrically symmetrical recess at least partly has a smaller depth in the region between the position of the inset sealing element and the side of the recess facing the insertion opening of the base body than in the region of the position of the sealing element.

System and method for storing and selectively dispensing liquids

The inventive system and method advantageously enable superior preserved storage and selective dispensation of liquids by storing wine (or other liquids) in a pressurized environment to ensure that the stored liquid does not come into contact with air, and then by selectively dispensing a portion of the stored liquid, in accordance with a desired dispensing regime, by utilizing a controlled source of pressure force to apply a sufficient pressure to the pressurized environment to expel the desired volume of the liquid in a pressurized stream directed to a dispensing/pouring interface through a conduit or equivalent delivery system. In at least several novel embodiments thereof, the system and method of the present invention are configured for use with wine-in-bag (WinB) products.

Connector for connecting to a tube

A connector having a body 1 with a central throughway in which a tube T is received. A collet 30 within the body has a plurality of flexible legs 32 arranged to grip the tube T if a force is applied to withdraw the tube. The connector further comprises at least one first tooth 14, the first tooth having a gripping edge in a plane angled to a plane perpendicular to the main axis of the connector, and being mountable with respect to the body so as to be non-rotatable about the main axis X.

Coupler with crown head for coupling pipes
12422066 · 2025-09-23 ·

A pipe coupler for coupling pipes of different kinds with a one or more crown partially flexible heads, integrated into the ends of the pipe coupler for accommodating grip rings and seals for coupling pipes of different kinds. The crown heads have planes at different levels that form grooves for accommodating the seals, and a backward trimmed cone-shape inner surface plane and flat plane for locking the grip rings inside corresponding recesses in the crown head. The external surface of the grip rings is also cone-shaped that corresponds the shape of the inner surface of the crown head and in friction contact with this inner surface. The grip ring blocks the seal from slipping out, and has sets of teeth for engaging with and locking to a pipe inside the coupler. Clamp bands wrap around the external surface of the crown heads that yield against it, thereby tightening the grip of the teeth in the pipe as internal pressure increases inside the pipe and causes the grip ring to axially travel towards the proximal end of the crown head. All parts of the coupler are made of synthetic materials and thereby avoid corrosive processes.

Push to connect conduit fitting assemblies and arrangements

A push to connect fitting includes first and second fitting components and a conduit releasing insert. The first and second fitting components are assembled to define an internal cavity enclosing a conduit retaining arrangement axially movable between an outboard conduit gripping position and an inboard conduit releasing position. The conduit releasing insert includes a fitting interlocking feature releasably engaging the second fitting component, and a releasing feature engaging the conduit retaining arrangement to secure the conduit retaining arrangement in the conduit releasing position against axial outboard movement. Movement of the conduit releasing insert to disengage the fitting interlocking feature from the second fitting component permits outboard axial movement of the conduit retaining arrangement to the conduit gripping position.

Connector element

A connector element (1), for a quick connect coupling to a terminal (3) having an interface (33) with a cylindrical enclosure, the connector element with a body delimiting an inner passage (43) for the fluid. In order for the connector to be able to be coupled reliably with terminals of variable dimensions and interface quality, the invention provides that the body has a conical portion (45) and that the connector element (1) has a movable bush (5), an elastic return member (8), which applies an elastic return force (F8) on the bush (5), and clamping pads (6) received in a respective housing (51) of the bush (5), the clamping pads being translated radially relative to the bush by mechanical cooperation with the conical portion, between a radial withdrawn position and a radial clamping position, to cooperate mechanically with the interface.
