The holding arms each have a free end that is spring-elastically movable in the radial direction, and an end opposite thereof that is fixed to the holding element body.

Systems and Methods for Applying Vacuum Pressure to Composite Parts

A vacuum probe comprises a sharpened body that is displaceable downward and toward a vacuum bag during vacuum hose quick connection. The sharpened body and a valve element inside the vacuum probe move in tandem until the sharpened body projects outside the vacuum probe. A vacuum pressure applied via the vacuum hose pulls the vacuum bag upwards and towards the projecting sharpened body, which then punctures the vacuum bag, thereby enabling air under the vacuum bag to be evacuated via the vacuum probe as vacuum pressure continues to be applied.

QUICK CONNECTOR MADE OF PLASTICS
20240183475 · 2024-06-06 · ·

The present invention provides a quick connector made of plastics material for establishing a snapping connection between a tubular male part (50) and a female part (40; 40A) of a fluid connection system. The connector has retaining means (10) adapted to be set within the mouth portion (41; 41A) of the female part (40; 40A) and having first and second flexing members (11, 12) for snapping engagement with the male part (50) and the female part (40; 40A), respectively. Each pair of circumferentially adjacent first and second flexing members (11, 12) is cross-connected by a transversal web portion (13) having a main longitudinal axis (L) which extends directly from the first flexing member (11) to the second flexing member (12).

Locking quick connect assembly

A locking quick connect assembly is provided for removably coupling a first tube and a second tube. A quick connect housing presents a central bore for receiving the second tube. A redundant latch component positionable between an unlocked position and a locked position may be provided to slidingly engage the quick connect housing. A twist lock retainer surrounds the quick connect housing and the redundant latch component. The redundant latch component includes an axially extending peg and the twist lock retainer includes a locking channel for receiving the peg. The twist lock retainer also includes a twist lock arm that locks against a bead of the second tube to resist separation. The twist lock arm extends perpendicularly to and radially inwardly of the locking channel to interleavingly engage the peg thus preventing unwanted decoupling of the assembly.

PUSH-BUTTON QUICK-CONNECT COUPLER INCLUDING A PRESSURE GAUGE
20190086011 · 2019-03-21 ·

A coupler includes a body, a stem, an actuator and a pressure gauge. The body defines an input port, an output port, a venting port and a main passageway. The stem is slidably coupled with the body and is slidable between a retracted position, a venting position, and an extended position. The venting position is between the retracted position and the extended position. The stem is biased into the retracted position. The actuator is operably coupled with the stem and is movable between a released position and an actuated position. The pressure gauge is coupled with the body and is in fluid communication with one of the input port and the output port. The pressure gauge is configured to detect and display a fluid pressure at said one of the input port and the output port

Connector for a Fluid Line
20190063654 · 2019-02-28 ·

The disclosure relates to a connector for a fluid line which includes a tubular housing. A receiver for a connecting piece is present in the tubular housing. The receiver is surrounded by an integral, continuous rotary ring. The rotary ring is pretensioned for locking the connector into a locked position and is rotatable for unlocking the connector into a released position. At least one guide channel is configured in an outer envelope surface of the tubular housing. This guide channel has an inlet on a first front face of the tubular housing. The rotary ring is received at least partially in the guide channel.

Fluid line coupling

A reversibly detachable fluid line coupling (1), at least having a coupling sleeve (2), a locking element (3) and a coupling plug (4) with a locking collar (41). The reversibly detachable fluid line coupling has a locking state of which can easily be checked automatically. This coupling has actuating/signaling surfaces (312) which are only visible when the coupling is in the unlocked state.

Fluid couplings

This document describes fluid handling couplings. For example, this document describes fluid handling couplings that include manually openable valves and that are configured for aseptic fluid handling usage. In some embodiments, the valves are manually openable by rotation of a collar of the fluid handling couplings.
