MULTI-PART CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A multi-part connector assembly is provided which realises a compact snap coupling between a hose (40) and a pipe socket (50) with only a single potential leaking position and requiring only a minimum number of parts: a first retaining member (10), a second retaining member (20) and a sealing element (30) sandwiched therebetween in the axial direction of the connector assembly.
FLUID CONNECTOR
A fluid connector, comprising a first connector body, a second connector body and a latching body which is configured to connect the first connector body to the second connector body, the latching body having a first non-destructively non-releasable latching device and a second non-destructively releasable latching device, the latching body being configured to be pushed both onto a radially outer side of the first connector body and onto a radially outer side of the second connector body.
Dispensing system
A dispensing fitment assembly includes a fitment assembly and a dispensing probe. The fitment assembly includes a fitment housing and a plug. The fitment housing is configured to operatively couple to a container opening of a fluid container. The plug is positioned within an interior portion of the fitment housing. The plug is slidingly movable between an open and closed position. Engagement between the dispensing probe and the interior surface of the plug is configured to move the plug from the closed position to the open position. Disengagement between the dispensing probe and the interior surface of the plug is configured to move the plug from the open to closed position.
Systems and methods for determining quick connector securement in vehicle evaporative emissions systems
A quick connect fitting for coupling a first component of an evaporative emissions system of a vehicle to a second component of the evaporative emissions system is provided. In one example, the quick connect fitting includes an indicator section that includes a color-changing material that changes color based on an extent of deformation of the color-changing material, where secure coupling of the first component to the second component is dependent on the extent of deformation. In this way, it may be readily determined as to whether a particular quick connect fitting is securely connected, which may improve engine operation, reduce undesired emissions, and reduce warranty rates.
Connector
A connector for connecting two fluid-conducting elements, in particular for connecting two motor vehicle pipelines, with a female plug-in part and a male plug-in part that can be plugged into the female plug-in part. The male plug-in part can be fixed on the female plug-in part via at least one fixing element. At least one indicator element is provided, which indicates the properly or completely fixed state of the male plug-in part which has been reached via the fixing element. When the male plug-in part is inserted into the female plug-in part, the indicator element is displaced outward in the radial direction. A radial outer position of the indicator element shows the properly fixed state of the male plug-in part on the female plug-in part.
Quick connector
A quick connector includes a housing having an insertion recess and a communication hole communicating with the insertion recess and formed in a direction perpendicular to the insertion recess, and a first fixing part having an arrest portion and an insertion guide protruding from the arrest portion in a direction toward an entrance of the insertion recess, wherein the arrest portion is inserted into the communication hole so that a lower end of the arrest portion is disposed in a position corresponding to the insertion recess, the first fixing part being coupled to the housing, so that the quick connector may be applied to a low-pressure side line in a fuel supply line of a vehicle, and since the quick connector has a simple structure, the quick connector may be easily manufactured and may be easily coupled and separated.
CONNECTION DEVICE BETWEEN A PIPE AND A BASE
A connection device for connecting at least one pipe and a base and topped by a collar comprises a connection end piece for fluidly connecting the pipe to the base and a retaining ring for keeping the connection end piece assembled with the base. The connection end piece comprises a tubular body and at least one first retaining element. The retaining ring comprises an annular body provided with a second retaining element engaging with the first retaining element to retain the retaining ring on the connection end piece. The retaining ring also comprises at least one locking tab integral with the annular body in order to grip the collar and keep the retaining ring assembled with the base.
CONNECTOR COUPLING ASSEMBLY
Couplers are described herein. A coupler includes a coupler body, a plurality of first retaining fingers, and a plurality of second retaining fingers. The coupler body includes a first end and a second end, and defining a cavity, the cavity configured to receive a first connector and a second connector. The plurality of first retaining fingers are configured to engage against a collar of the first connector to prevent axial motion of the first connector relative to the coupler. The plurality of second retaining fingers are configured to engage against a shoulder of the second connector with a retention force, and release the second connector by radially expanding in response to a pullout force exerted on the second connector exceeding the retention force.
Mechanical orientation control heater hose assembly for quick connect
An end-form fitting includes a tube and an auxiliary component disposed around the tube. One of the tube and the auxiliary component is deformed to cause the auxiliary component to engage the tube in order to militate against relative movement between the tube and the auxiliary component. The auxiliary component includes an array of surface irregularities formed therein and configured to engage an outer circumferential surface of the tube to form a corrugated joint therebetween. The auxiliary component is formed to include a radially outwardly extending orientation structure for establishing a rotational orientation of the end-form fitting when being coupled to a complimentary end-form fitting.
QUICK COUPLER FOR AUTOMOTIVE FLUID TRANSPORT TUBING
A quick coupler for automotive fluid transport tubing discloses a quick coupling element used on metallic tubing, particularly on tubing for automotive fluid transport. The quick coupler includes two locking members made in thermoplastic material, and the quick coupler being fitted on both a male fitting tube and a female fitting tube in order to join the tubes together and provide them with an anti-rotation safety system.
