Nested pre-charge cartridges
A nested gas charged cartridge for insertion in a cylinder to reduce pulsations in a fluid pumping system includes a first gas cartridge and a second gas cartridge, and optionally a third gas cartridge. Each of the first, second, and third gas cartridges independently and cumulatively reduce pulsations entering the cylinder. A diameter of the third gas cartridge is less than a diameter of the second gas cartridge, which both are less than a diameter of a first gas cartridge.
STABILIZER CARTRIDGE
A cartridge shell for a suction or discharge stabilizer dampening pumped fluid pressure pulsations at an inlet or outlet of a reciprocating pump includes a head including a protrusion, an annular shell of deformable material of a deformable multi-ply material coupled to the protrusion, a plug coupled to the annular shell of deformable material at an opposite end of the annular shell of deformable material from the protrusion, and a cellular foam included within the interior of the annular shell of deformable material.
Dampening valve unit
A dampening valve unit, for use in a liquid distribution system is disclosed. A feeding conduit is evacuated of liquid after an associated tap unit is closed and refilled with liquid after the tap unit is opened. The dampening valve unit comprises a dampening chamber, connectable to said feeding conduit, and a liquid stop valve unit, connectable at an inlet end thereof, to said associated feeding conduit and which has an outlet end being connectable to said associated liquid tap unit. Said dampening chamber is adapted to collect gas and is connectable to said associated feeding conduit via a passage. The passage is directly connected, without any restrictions therebetween, also to a liquid stop valve at said inlet end. The passage is always open at the dampening chamber for fluid connection between the passage and the dampening chamber.

Systems, devices and methods for preventing overpressurization of subsea equipment and flowlines
Disclosed are processes, devices and systems for preventing overpressurization of subsea production equipment and flowlines in which fluid passes through a high integrity pressure protection system (HIPPS). In embodiments, a container having a piston seal therein can be attached to the piping. In embodiments, a device having a piston seal therein and connected to a fluid receptacle can be attached to the piping. In the event of a pressure surge, fluid can be diverted to the container or the device, thereby lessening the pressure surge. In embodiments, the container or device includes a resetting force to return the piston seal to its original sealed position. The use of the systems disclosed improve the life of the HIPPS valve, protects subsea equipment and flowlines, and enables a length and/or a wall thickness of a fortified pipeline zone downstream of the HIPPS to be reduced.
Vapor column liquid accumulator
Liquid accumulators and methods for reducing pulsations of a liquid flow are disclosed. A liquid delivery system comprises a pump configured to drive liquid to a pipe. The pipe is configured to transmit a liquid flow. A liquid accumulator is fluidically connected to the pipe. The liquid accumulator comprises a chamber containing the liquid and a vapor column and a power source configured to input energy to the chamber to generate vapor from the liquid to form the vapor column. The vapor column constitutes a gas spring to reduce pulsations of the liquid flow in the pipe. The spring rate of the gas spring can be adjusted by changing the input energy level from the power source to the chamber.
