Apparatus and method to repair the junction of a sewer main line and lateral pipe
A liner assembly and method for lining a damaged pipe junction between a main and lateral pipe is provided. The liner assembly includes a main liner member and a lateral liner tube. A collar disposed near the juncture between the main liner member and lateral liner tube is impregnated with a liquid hydrophobic or hydrophilic material capable of curing in a flexible or rigid state with the material expanding in the presence of water. The hydrophobic or hydrophilic material can also be applied without the use of the collar. When the liner assembly is pressed against the main and lateral pipes, a portion of the hydrophilic or hydrophobic material is forced into the damaged pipe junction.
Tubing everting apparatus, assemblies, and methods
Tubing everting apparatus, assemblies, and methods are disclosed herein. The tubing everting apparatus include a pressure chamber that defines an internal volume, a liner inlet port that is configured to receive a flexible tube liner into the internal volume, an inlet sealing structure that is configured to resist fluid flow therepast from the pressure chamber, and a liner outlet port that is configured to permit the flexible tube liner to extend from the internal volume. In some embodiments, the apparatus include a lubricator that is configured to apply a lubricant to the flexible tube liner. In some embodiments, the apparatus include a non-deflation valve that is configured to selectively transition between open and closed states. The assemblies include the apparatus and a cart that includes a lubricant reservoir. The methods include methods of operating the apparatus.
DEVICE FOR PULLING IN, AND IN PARTICULAR CURING, A PIPELINE LINER
The invention relates to a device (10) for pulling in, and in particular curing, a pipeline liner (40), the device comprising a housing (11) having a first end piece (12) and a second end piece (14) opposite one another, a housing body (16) extending between the end pieces (12, 14), and a power supply line connected to the first end piece (12), in which device an electromagnet (45) which is coupled to the power supply line and can be energized thereby is provided on the second end piece (14), in particular on the free end face thereof.
Method, apparatus and system for lining conduits
Methods, apparatus or equipment and systems for lining conduits, e.g., preferably subterranean pipelines and passageways, such as sewers, with a liner impregnated with a curable resin in order to secure the conduit against ingress or egress of liquids.
LINING DEVICE FOR LINING A SEWER BRANCH PIPE
The lining device is intended to line a sewer branch pipe with a lining tube. It includes a holding chamber for the lining tube, the holding chamber having a straight holding-chamber bearing line. Furthermore, it has a reduction piece which is attached to an end side of the holding chamber and has a straight reduction-piece bearing line, which is aligned with the holding-chamber bearing line. Moreover, it has a deflection piece which is provided with a blow-out connection piece for fastening one end of the lining tube to, wherein a position of the blow-out connection piece is settable and adaptable to the position of a junction of the sewer branch pipe leading into the main sewer. Furthermore, it has pressure application device in order to blow out a lining tube, present in the holding chamber and fastened to the blow-out connection piece.
Internally coated liner
The present invention relates to an impregnated fiber tube, also referred to as a liner, for internally lining conduits and pipes, a method of manufacturing the fiber tube, a method of rehabilitating pipes, and use of the fiber tube for rehabilitating pipe.
CIPP liner feed roller
A CIPP liner feed roller for manipulating and feeding CIPP liner by pulling CIPP liner from a liner source and feeding it to where it is needed. The CIPP liner feed roller generally includes a main roller attached to a frame, a clamping roller attached to the frame and configured to be in parallel with the main roller, wherein the distance between the clamping roller and the main roller can be adjusted using one or more actuators, a drive unit comprising a motor configured to control the rotation of the main roller within the frame, a controller coupled to the drive unit and the one or more actuators, wherein the controller is configured to control the rotation of the main roller and the distance between the clamping roller and the main roller, and a support beam attached the frame and configured to be in parallel with the main roller.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EVERTING A LINING MATERIAL
An eversion container 1 includes an opening section 2 having an opening 30 formed into which a lining material 60 is inserted and through which it can passes; and an eversion nozzle 12 to which one end of the lining material is airtightly attached. The eversion container is filled with an incompressible liquid 40 up to a predetermined level 40a beyond the opening of the opening section to form an airtightly sealed space above the liquid. Compressed gas is supplied to the airtightly sealed space to evert the lining material. A liquid supply pump 50 supplies the liquid in a liquid tack into the eversion container in compensation for the liquid flowing out of the opening section under the action of the compressed gas so that the liquid is kept at the predetermined level. The compressed gas can continuously evert the lining material without leaking through the opening section.
