Universally adjusting Ultra Short Throw (UST) projector credenza having a sliding UST compartment allowing for the cabinet to lie flush or near flush with a forward wall. The UST compartment expands out to a predetermined position to accommodate projecting images onto 100+ inch screens above. Each UST compartment comes with a cross-drilled and ventilated floating shelf that can be adjusted in three dimensions withing the compartment to allow adjustments. Ventilation holes in the shelf aerate the projector without obstructing ventilation. The UST compartment may have a low iron pane of glass over the projector to make it more discrete and hidden, but does not obstruct the image or color of the projected image passing through it in any way.

Elevation device and robot

An elevation device includes a mounting frame, a rotary actuator fixed to the mounting frame, a shaft connected to the rotary actuator and rotatable with respect to the mounting frame, a drive bar slidably connected to the mounting frame, and a connecting member fixed to the shaft. The shaft defines a helical groove in a lateral surface thereof. The drive bar includes a post that is movably fit in the helical groove. The mounting frame, the shaft and the drive bar constitute a conversion mechanism that converts rotation of the shaft into linear motion of the drive bar. The drive bar is slidable with respect to the mounting frame along a direction that is parallel to an axis of rotation of the shaft.

MEDIA BAR BRACKET

Various implementations include brackets for mounting a media bar, and systems that includes a media bar and a bracket. The brackets can be configured to couple with at least two distinct external components, in distinct orientations. In certain examples, a bracket for mounting a media bar includes: a first section including a first set of mating features for coupling with the media bar; a second section including a second set of mating features for coupling with at least two distinct external components; and at least one hinge for adjusting the first section relative to the second section to enable mounting the media bar to the at least two distinct external components, respectively, in distinct orientations.

Articulated mechanism and articulated aiming system comprising the mechanism

An articulated mechanism is included in an articulated pointing system. The articulated mechanism includes first, second, and third spherical joints, and a first, second, and third lever. The first and second spherical joints are linked by the first lever. The first lever includes a first projecting portion. The first and third spherical joints are linked by the second lever, the second lever including a second projecting portion projecting in an opposite direction of the first projecting portion. The second and third spherical joints are linked by the third lever, such that the longitudinal axes of the first lever and of the second lever are perpendicular. The articulated pointing system includes a basement platform and a mobile platform joined by two articulated hinges. The hinges are moved by actuators. The articulated mechanism has the first lever attached to the mobile platform and the second lever attached to the basement platform.

A top plate retains a device which is positioned adjacent a ceiling. The top plate is affixed adjacent a top end of the vertical height adjustment pole. The vertical height adjustment pole is lowered to be in reach of the seated person to enable the seated person to work on the device retained on the top plate. After work on the device is completed, the vertical height adjustment pole is retained so that the top plate is adjacent a ceiling.
