A night vision goggle adapter including: a goggle mount assembly; a primary magnet generating a magnetic flux; a magnetic flux conducting unit having a first end and a second end; a first plurality of shunts; and a second plurality of shunts disposed about the goggle mount assembly; wherein the magnetic flux conducting unit may overlap the primary magnet and form a magnetic circuit for conducting the magnetic flux towards the second end of the magnetic flux conducting unit when none of the first plurality of shunts and none of the second plurality of shunts are overlapped by the magnetic flux conducting unit; and wherein the magnetic flux is shorted through one of the first plurality of shunts or the second plurality of shunts when the magnetic flux conducting unit is positioned to overlap one of the first plurality of shunts or one of the second plurality of shunts.

A locking system securing an image scanning device to a container includes a compressible material. The compressible material is disposed between a first securing plate and a second securing plate. A rotational element is disposed within curved edges of the first and second securing plates, where the curved edges each curve away from the compressible material. A shaft extends from the rotational element to the image scanning device. A fastener is secured through the first and second securing plates, and into the securing surface to lock the rotational element, and subsequently the shaft and image scanning device, in place. The locking system can be secured to a pitched surface to naturally position the image scanning device perpendicular to level ground.

An electronic apparatus includes a support bracket, a display assembly rotatably connected to the support bracket, a camera assembly separately arranged at an outside of the display assembly and located at the plane formed by the rotation of the display assembly, and a follower connected to the camera assembly and the support bracket. During rotation of the display assembly, the follower is configured to follow the rotation of the display assembly to synchronously drive the camera assembly to translate relative to the display assembly along an outer edge of the display assembly in a designated linear direction, so that a distance between the camera assembly and the outer edge of the display assembly is kept at a designated distance.

A mobile device accessory assembly for holding and using a mobile device is provided. The assembly includes an attachment base for attaching the accessory assembly to a surface of the mobile device, and a multi-positional stand member extendable to hold the mobile device in a variety of upright orientations. A pivot assembly couples the stand member to the attachment base while providing the stand member two distinct degrees of freedom with respect to the attachment base. A clip member is coupled to the stand member providing an attachment mechanism to secure the accessory assembly and the mobile device held thereby to a separate structure.

A tripod having a first side leg, a second side leg, and a hollow leg. The three legs are connected to a center member which use swivels for the first side leg and the second side leg. The hollow leg engages a hollow circular receiver which allows an extension member to extend from the interior of the hollow leg, through center member. An attachment mechanism, such as for a camera, is secured to the distal end of the extension. The attachment mechanism permits the camera secured thereto to be rotated and directed to the operator's desires.

A camera gimbal is provided having first and second arms, a support connected to the second arm and having an upper end to which a camera may be mounted and a lower end to which a counterweight is connected, and a gearbox including a gear and a rotary damper. The second arm is rotatable relative to the first arm and includes a proximal end portion forming a housing for the gearbox and a distal end portion to which the support is connected. The camera gimbal is purely-mechanical in operation and is without connection to a power source relying solely on gravity acting on a camera mounted on the support and the counterweight to cause rotation of the first arm relative to the second arm to maintain the camera in a relatively level position while the rotary damper damps the rotational movement.

An adjustable mounting apparatus for electronic devices is configured to be adaptable to various support structures, and to facilitate a customized mount orientation for the electronic devices through several degrees of pivot freedom. The mounting apparatus is particularly adaptable to outdoor or industrial environments in which standard support structure modalities may not be available.

A device for holding an audio microphone is disclosed. The microphone holding device includes a base section having a base plate connected to a riser block that engages with a tube of a microphone holding section to enable rotation of the microphone holding section from a horizontal orientation to a vertical orientation. The device also includes an expander shaft section including an expander shaft coupled at one end with the tube and at another end with base plate. The expander shaft expands from a compressed shaft to an expanded shaft when the microphone holding section rotates from the horizontal orientation to the vertical orientation to assist in holding the microphone holding section in the vertical orientation.

A camera support includes a post, a gimbal assembly, and a mounting member. The mounting member couples the gimbal assembly to the post for rotation of the gimbal assembly about a pan axis coincident with a longitudinal axis of symmetry of the post. The gimbal assembly includes a roll cradle, a tilt body and a second mounting member. The roll cradle is movably secured to the first mounting member for rotation about a roll axis perpendicular to the pan axis. The tilt body is movably mounted to the roll cradle for rotation about a tilt axis perpendicular to both the pan axis and the roll axis. The second mounting member is connected to the tilt body for attaching a camera to the tilt body.
