The present disclosure provides a handheld gimbal, including a handle and a photographing apparatus (mounted on the handle. The handle is provided with a first electrical contact portion. An end portion of the handle is rotatably provided with an adapter ring. The adapter ring is provided with a first connecting member. The photographing apparatus is provided with a second connecting member engaged with the first connecting member and a second electrical contact portion electrically connected to the first electrical contact portion. The adapter ring rotates in a first direction, so that the first connecting member and the second connecting member are locked to each other.
