Base having concentric anchor
A base for supporting an object comprising a plurality of legs, a shaft concentrically located relative to the legs, an anchor attached to the shaft, and an attachment point for receiving an object. The anchor can be inserted into a substrate to maintain the stability of the base.
Foldable stand assembly
A foldable stand assembly is provided. The assembly includes a base adapted to rest on a ground surface, a platform positionable above the base adapted to hold a separate apparatus (e.g., a vehicle jack), and a set of support arms extending between the base and the platform to support the overall assembly. The base includes a U-shaped channel into which the support arms and at least a portion of the platform may be received when the stand is folded for stowage. Accordingly, the stand assembly may be folded into a compact configuration for stowage and unfolded into an upright configuration for use.
Tri-directional mounting bracket, system, and method
A tri-directional bracket, system, and method is for displaying information is disclosed. The bracket includes a set of sides connected to each other defining a generally triangular prism, a first end cap connected to the set of sides at a first end, a second end cap, connected to the set of sides at a second end, a stop cap connected to the set of sides, positioned between the first end and the second end, and a guide connected to the set of sides, positioned between the stop cap and the second end cap. A handle is connected to the first end cap. A 360-degree viewing angle defined by the set of sides. A set of displays is connected to the tri-directional bracket and a computing device is connected to the set of displays to display information. The bracket is then connected to a mounting structure, such as a tripod.
Smoke detector shields and related methods
Smoke detector shields for blocking or minimizing the transmission of light therethrough and methods for use are provided. According to one embodiment, a method for shielding a smoke detector includes shielding at least a portion of a smoke detector operationally arranged within a room, and subsequently activating a light emission device arranged within the room, while shielding the smoke detector. In order to exclude light emission devices, which are commonly used within a room for lighting and/or communication purposes, the light emission device set forth in the method is configured for generating infrared light at a radiant intensity greater than approximately 1 W/sr, and/or ultraviolet light at a radiant intensity greater than approximately 1 W/sr, and/or visible light at a luminous flux greater than approximately 3000 lumens. Embodiments of smoke detector shields that prevent such light from penetrating the housing of a shielded smoke detector are provided herein.
Rotary joint of telescopic rod bearing high load
The present invention provides a rotary joint of a telescopic rod for connecting a bottom pipe and a support pipe, which comprises a base, a support base and a screwing member. The base comprises a first clamp for clamping the bottom pipe and a first pivot plate, and the first pivot plate comprises a guide groove. The support base comprises a second clamp for clamping the support pipe and a second pivot plate, wherein the second pivot plate comprises a through hole, the first pivot plate and the second pivot plate are pivoted together at a pivot point, and when the first pivot plate and the second pivot plate rotate relatively, the through hole is kept to align to the guide groove. The screwing member penetrates through the through hole and the guide groove to clamp and fix the first pivot plate and the second pivot plate.
Base assembly and lighting device
A base assembly includes a mounting structure and a support structure. The mounting structure includes a base body, a main body, and a guide rod provided between the base body and the main body. The support structure includes a sliding element and support legs. The sliding element is slidably connected to the guide rod. Each of the support legs is provided with a rotating end and a support end that are arranged opposite to each other. The rotating end is rotatably connected to the sliding element. The sliding element is slidable toward the main body to drive a plurality of support ends to approach each other, such that the base assembly is in a folded state. One of the base body and the support leg is provided with a first locking element, and the other of the base body and the support leg is provided with a second locking element.

A set of displays is connected to the tri-directional bracket and a computing device is connected to the set of displays to display information. The bracket is then connected to a mounting structure, such as a tripod.
Tripod
Tripod having a tripod head, a shaft, having telescopic shaft parts, attached to the tripod head via a locking mechanism, and at least three support legs mounted so as to be outwardly pivotably on the shaft. The support legs are connected to the tripod head via pulling members which can be wound up and unwound by a coil arranged rotatably on the tripod head and can be tensioned by a tensioning element. It is proposed that the coil is provided with a return spring acting in the winding direction of rotation of the coil, and a coupling mechanism is provided which can be transferred with an operating element from a rotation mode, in which the coil can be rotated in an unwinding direction of rotation and by the return spring in a winding direction of rotation, into a tensioning mode, in which the coil is locked with respect to the pulling members and the pulling members can be tensioned by the tensioning element.
Tripod leg spreader
A leg spreader (10) for a tripod comprising at least two portions (12, 14) selectably moveable with respect to one another along an axis; a first portion comprising a latch (16) and a second portion comprising an engagement region (18); the latch being releasably engageable with the engagement region, the latch being moveable by an actuator (20) between an engaged position in which the portions are substantially non-moveable with respect of one another and a disengaged position in which the portions are moveable with respect to one another; wherein the latch is biased towards the engaged position.
