High-pressure container and shell reinforcing layer wrapping method
An end of a shell forming a high-pressure container is opened to form an opening. A cap is disposed partially inside the opening to close the opening. A shell reinforcing layer having a first reinforcing layer that is made of a first fiber-reinforced resin having a fiber direction oriented in a circumferential direction, and a second reinforcing layer that is integrated with the first reinforcing layer and made of a second fiber-reinforced resin having a fiber direction oriented in an axial direction, is wrapped in layers around an outer circumferential surface of the shell. The second reinforcing layer is placed over a region of the first reinforcing layer.
Manufacturing method for tank
A manufacturing method for a tank is a method of manufacturing a tank by winding fibers impregnated with a resin in a plurality of layers on an outer circumference of a liner, and the manufacturing method includes: laminating a plurality of hoop layers by hoop-winding the fibers impregnated with the resin; and laminating a plurality of helical layers by helical-winding the fibers impregnated with the resin such that the helical layers wrap the hoop layers. When laminating the helical layers, a temperature of the fibers impregnated with the resin is adjusted at 40 C. or more and 60 C. or less.
Systems and methods for converting cryogenic liquid natural gas to high pressure natural gas and to low pressure natural gas and retain all converted product and to further dispense only by voluntary actions of the user
A system to convert and dispense pressurized gas(es) of cryogenic liquids of gas(es), and systems and methods to efficiently convert liquid natural gas (LNG) to compressed natural gas (CNG) and low pressure natural gas (NG) and other cryogenic liquids of gas. The system requires one dedicated pressure vessel of horizontal and vertical elements at the dispensing location to convert, retain, store, and dispense multiple pressures of gas from a cryogenic liquid supply such as a non-dedicated high pressure cryogenic personal supply tank. The system efficiently modifies and controls parameters of volume, pressure, and temperature in conversion scale to retain all converted product under human control to dispense without process required waste for use in commercial, industrial, and in particular single family residential applications and service can be accomplished by pickup truck and trailer, where semi trucks, big rig trucks and process pollution are not welcome.
Safety Valve for a Pressure Vessel Having a Release Line, and Pressure Vessel System
A thermally activatable safety valve for a pressure vessel includes i) a pressure relief unit having a valve for pressure relief of the pressure vessel; ii) at least one release line which extends away from the pressure relief unit; and iii) at least one bursting device. The release line, the bursting device and the valve are fluidically connected and form a common fluid system. The valve is designed, for pressure relief, to pass from a first closed position into a second open position if the pressure in the fluid system is less than an actuating limit pressure. The bursting device is designed to bring about pressure relief in the fluid system if the pressure in the fluid system exceeds a release pressure.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HIGH-PRESSURE TANK AND HIGH-PRESSURE TANK
A high-pressure tank in a method of manufacturing a high-pressure tank includes a liner and a fiber. The manufacturing method includes: preparing a dome and a pipe each having a general portion and a joining end portion formed to be thicker than the general portion such that an outer diameter at least at an end face is larger than an outer diameter of the general portion by an estimated level difference amount; joining the joining end portion of the dome and the joining end portion of the pipe together in an axial direction; cutting off portions on the further outer side in a radial direction than a reference plane, with an outer peripheral surface of the general portion of the dome having a large outer diameter at the joined surface as the reference plane; and winding a carbon fiber around the outer peripheral surface of the liner in helical winding.
LINER CONFIGURING MEMBER, HIGH PRESSURE TANK, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
A liner configuring member configuring a liner includes a main body section which is configured from a resin material and has both ends opened. That is, both ends of the main body section are, respectively, a first open end and a second open end. There is provided in a vicinity of the first open end a first flange section where a first annular recess is formed by a first bottom section and a first side section. On the other hand, there is provided in a vicinity of the second open end a second flange section where a second annular recess is formed by a second bottom section and a second side section.

LNG Tank and system for connecting at least one pipe between an LNG tank and a tank connection space thereof
An LNG tank is a single-shell LNG tank having one shell and at least one pipe extending from the LNG tank to a tank connection space of the LNG tank. The shell of the LNG tank is substantially surrounded by insulation. The LNG tank has at least one bellow connection surrounding at least part of the length of the at least one pipe for connecting the at least one pipe extending from the LNG tank to the tank connection space. A system for connecting at least one pipe between an LNG tank and a tank connection space thereof is also provided. At least one pipe extends from the LNG tank to the tank connection space and which LNG tank is a single-shell tank having one shell. The at least one pipe is connected between the LNG tank and the tank connection space by at least one bellow connection.
Gas delivery valve and methods of use thereof
A novel and improved inventive valve with a regulating function is provided that is capable of filling to higher fill pressures than previously attainable with conventional C-10 on-off valves. The valve contains a single flow passageway by which gas dispenses and enters the valve. A fill adapter is specially configured to engage the valve to allow filling at the higher pressures along the single flow passageway. The structure of the valve allows greater utilization of cylinder capacity; simplifies filling and dispensing with the single flow passageway; and allows for regulating gas pressure during delivery without increasing the overall size of the cylinder package.
Composite pressure vessel assembly and method of manufacturing
A composite pressure vessel assembly includes a plurality of lobes, each of the lobes having at least one interior wall and at least one curved wall, the plurality of lobes being positioned in a side by side arrangement and extending in a longitudinal direction from a first end to a second end.
